priests <GEN47 -22> Only the land of the priests bought he not;
for
the {priests} had a portion [assigned them] of Pharaoh, and did
eat
their portion which Pharaoh gave them: wherefore they sold not
their
lands.
priests <GEN47 -22> Only the land of the {priests} bought he not;
for the priests had a portion [assigned them] of Pharaoh, and did
eat their portion which Pharaoh gave them: wherefore they sold
not
their lands.
priests <GEN47 -26> And Joseph made it a law over the land of
Egypt
unto this day, [that] Pharaoh should have the fifth [part];
except
the land of the {priests} only, [which] became not Pharaoh's.
priests <EXO19 -6> And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of
{priests},
and an holy nation. These [are] the words which thou shalt speak
unto the children of Israel.
priests <EXO19 -22> And let the {priests} also, which come near
to
the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon
them.
priests <EXO19 -24> And the LORD said unto him, Away, get thee
down,
and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not
the
{priests} and the people break through to come up unto the LORD,
lest he break forth upon them.
priests <LEV1 -5> And he shall kill the bullock before the LORD:
and
the {priests}, Aaron's sons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle
the
blood round about upon the altar that [is by] the door of the
tabernacle of the congregation.
priests <LEV1 -8> And the {priests}, Aaron's sons, shall lay the
parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that [is] on
the fire which [is] upon the altar:
priests <LEV1 -11> And he shall kill it on the side of the altar
northward before the LORD: and the {priests}, Aaron's sons, shall
sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar.
priests <LEV2 -2> And he shall bring it to Aaron's sons the
{priests}: and he shall take thereout his handful of the flour
thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense
thereof;
and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the altar, [to
be] an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD:
priests <LEV3 -2> And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his
offering, and kill it [at] the door of the tabernacle of the
congregation: and Aaron's sons the {priests} shall sprinkle the
blood upon the altar round about.
priests <LEV6 -29> All the males among the {priests} shall eat
thereof: it [is] most holy.
priests <LEV7 -6> Every male among the {priests} shall eat
thereof:
it shall be eaten in the holy place: it [is] most holy.
priests <LEV13 -2> When a man shall have in the skin of his
flesh a
rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his
flesh
[like] the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron
the priest, or unto one of his sons the {priests}:
priests <LEV16 -33> And he shall make an atonement for the holy
sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of
the
congregation, and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement
for
the {priests}, and for all the people of the congregati
on.
priests <LEV21 -1> And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the
{priests} the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none
be
defiled for the dead among his people:
priests <NUM3 -3> These [are] the names of the sons of Aaron, the
{priests} which were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in
the priest's office.
priests <NUM10 -8> And the sons of Aaron, the {priests}, shall
blow
with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for
ever throughout your generations.
priests <DEU17 -9> And thou shalt come unto the {priests} the
Levites, and unto the judge that shall be in those days, and
inquire; and they shall show thee the sentence of judgment:
priests <DEU17 -18> And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the
throne
of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a
book
out of [that which is] before the {priests} the Levites:
priests <DEU18 -1> The {priests} the Levites, [and] all the
tribe of
Levi, shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel: they shall
eat
the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and his inheritance.
priests <DEU19 -17> Then both the men, between whom the
controversy
[is], shall stand before the LORD, before the {priests} and the
judges, which shall be in those days;
priests <DEU21 -5> And the {priests} the sons of Levi shall come
near; for them the LORD thy God hath chosen to minister unto him,
and to bless in the name of the LORD; and by their word shall
every
controversy and every stroke be [tried]:
priests <DEU24 -8> Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou
observe diligently, and do according to all that the {priests}
the
Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them, [so] ye shall
observe
to do.
priests <DEU27 -9> And Moses and the {priests} the Levites spake
unto all Israel, saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this
day
thou art become the people of the LORD thy God.
priests <DEU31 -9> And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it
unto
the {priests} the sons of Levi, which bare the ark of the
covenant
of the LORD, and unto all the elders of Israel.
priests <JOS3 -3> And they commanded the people, saying, When ye
see
the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the {priests}
the
Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go
after it.
priests <JOS3 -6> And Joshua spake unto the {priests}, saying,
Take
up the ark of the covenant, and pass over before the people. And
they took up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people.
priests <JOS3 -8> And thou shalt command the {priests} that bear
the
ark of the covenant, saying, When ye are come to the brink of the
water of Jordan, ye shall stand still in Jordan.
priests <JOS3 -13> And it shall come to pass, as soon as the
soles
of the feet of the {priests} that bear the ark of the LORD, the
Lord
of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan, [that] the
waters of Jordan shall be cut off [from] the waters th
at come down from above; and they shall stand upon an heap.
priests <JOS3 -14> And it came to pass, when the people removed
from
their tents, to pass over Jordan, and the {priests} bearing the
ark
of the covenant before the people;
priests <JOS3 -15> And as they that bare the ark were come unto
Jordan, and the feet of the {priests} that bare the ark were
dipped
in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks
all
the time of harvest,)
priests <JOS3 -17> And the {priests} that bare the ark of the
covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of
Jordan, and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until
all
the people were passed clean over Jordan.
priests <JOS4 -3> And command ye them, saying, Take you hence
out of
the midst of Jordan, out of the place where the {priests}' feet
stood firm, twelve stones, and ye shall carry them over with you,
and leave them in the lodging place, where ye shall lodg
e this night.
priests <JOS4 -9> And Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of
Jordan, in the place where the feet of the {priests} which bare
the
ark of the covenant stood: and they are there unto this day.
priests <JOS4 -10> For the {priests} which bare the ark stood in
the
midst of Jordan, until every thing was finished that the LORD
commanded Joshua to speak unto the people, according to all that
Moses commanded Joshua: and the people hasted and passed ov
er.
priests <JOS4 -11> And it came to pass, when all the people were
clean passed over, that the ark of the LORD passed over, and the
{priests}, in the presence of the people.
priests <JOS4 -16> Command the {priests} that bear the ark of the
testimony, that they come up out of Jordan.
priests <JOS4 -17> Joshua therefore commanded the {priests},
saying,
Come ye up out of Jordan.
priests <JOS4 -18> And it came to pass, when the priests that
bare
the ark of the covenant of the LORD were come up out of the
midst of
Jordan, [and] the soles of the {priests}' feet were lifted up
unto
the dry land, that the waters of Jordan returned unt
o their place, and flowed over all his banks, as [they did]
before.
priests <JOS4 -18> And it came to pass, when the {priests} that
bare
the ark of the covenant of the LORD were come up out of the
midst of
Jordan, [and] the soles of the priests' feet were lifted up unto
the
dry land, that the waters of Jordan returned unt
o their place, and flowed over all his banks, as [they did]
before.
priests <JOS6 -4> And seven {priests} shall bear before the ark
seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day ye shall
compass
the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the
trumpets.
priests <JOS6 -4> And seven priests shall bear before the ark
seven
trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the
city seven times, and the {priests} shall blow with the trumpets.
priests <JOS6 -6> And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests,
and
said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven
{priests} bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of
the
LORD.
priests <JOS6 -6> And Joshua the son of Nun called the {priests},
and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let
seven
priests bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the
LORD.
priests <JOS6 -8> And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken
unto
the people, that the seven {priests} bearing the seven trumpets
of
rams' horns passed on before the LORD, and blew with the
trumpets:
and the ark of the covenant of the LORD followed them.
priests <JOS6 -9> And the armed men went before the {priests}
that
blew with the trumpets, and the rereward came after the ark, [the
priests] going on, and blowing with the trumpets.
priests <JOS6 -9> And the armed men went before the priests that
blew with the trumpets, and the rereward came after the ark, [the
{priests}] going on, and blowing with the trumpets.
priests <JOS6 -12> And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the
{priests} took up the ark of the LORD.
priests <JOS6 -13> And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of
rams'
horns before the ark of the LORD went on continually, and blew
with
the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the
rereward
came after the ark of the LORD, [the {priests}] goi
ng on, and blowing with the trumpets.
priests <JOS6 -13> And seven {priests} bearing seven trumpets of
rams' horns before the ark of the LORD went on continually, and
blew
with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the
rereward came after the ark of the LORD, [the priests] goi
ng on, and blowing with the trumpets.
priests <JOS6 -16> And it came to pass at the seventh time, when
the
{priests} blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people,
Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city.
priests <JOS6 -20> So the people shouted when [the {priests}]
blew
with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the
sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout,
that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up
into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the
city.
priests <JOS8 -33> And all Israel, and their elders, and
officers,
and their judges, stood on this side the ark and on that side
before
the {priests} the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of
the
LORD, as well the stranger, as he that was born am
ong them; half of them over against mount Gerizim, and half of
them
over against mount Ebal; as Moses the servant of the LORD had
commanded before, that they should bless the people of Israel.
priests <JOS21 -19> All the cities of the children of Aaron, the
{priests}, [were] thirteen cities with their suburbs.
priests <JUG18 -30> And the children of Dan set up the graven
image:
and Jonathan, the son of Gershom, the son of Manasseh, he and his
sons were {priests} to the tribe of Dan until the day of the
captivity of the land.
priests <1SA1 -3> And this man went up out of his city yearly to
worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And
the
two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the {priests} of the LORD,
[were] there.
priests <1SA2 -13> And the {priests}' custom with the people
[was,
that], when any man offered sacrifice, the priest's servant came,
while the flesh was in seething, with a fleshhook of three teeth
in
his hand;
priests <1SA2 -36> And it shall come to pass, [that] every one
that
is left in thine house shall come [and] crouch to him for a
piece of
silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee,
into one of the {priests}' offices, that I may eat a
piece of bread.
priests <1SA5 -5> Therefore neither the {priests} of Dagon, nor
any
that come into Dagon's house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in
Ashdod unto this day.
priests <1SA6 -2> And the Philistines called for the {priests}
and
the diviners, saying, What shall we do to the ark of the LORD?
tell
us wherewith we shall send it to his place.
priests <1SA22 -11> Then the king sent to call Ahimelech the
priest,
the son of Ahitub, and all his father's house, the {priests} that
[were] in Nob: and they came all of them to the king.
priests <1SA22 -17> And the king said unto the footmen that stood
about him, Turn, and slay the {priests} of the LORD; because
their
hand also [is] with David, and because they knew when he fled,
and
did not show it to me. But the servants of the king wou
ld not put forth their hand to fall upon the priests of the LORD.
priests <1SA22 -17> And the king said unto the footmen that stood
about him, Turn, and slay the priests of the LORD; because their
hand also [is] with David, and because they knew when he fled,
and
did not show it to me. But the servants of the king would
not put forth their hand to fall upon the {priests} of the LORD.
priests <1SA22 -18> And the king said to Doeg, Turn thou, and
fall
upon the priests. And Doeg the Edomite turned, and he fell upon
the
{priests}, and slew on that day fourscore and five persons that
did
wear a linen ephod.
priests <1SA22 -18> And the king said to Doeg, Turn thou, and
fall
upon the {priests}. And Doeg the Edomite turned, and he fell upon
the priests, and slew on that day fourscore and five persons that
did wear a linen ephod.
priests <1SA22 -19> And Nob, the city of the {priests}, smote he
with the edge of the sword, both men and women, children and
sucklings, and oxen, and asses, and sheep, with the edge of the
sword.
priests <1SA22 -21> And Abiathar showed David that Saul had slain
the LORD'S {priests}.
priests <2SA8 -17> And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Ahimelech the
son of Abiathar, [were] the {priests}; and Seraiah [was] the
scribe;
priests <2SA15 -35> And [hast thou] not there with thee Zadok and
Abiathar the {priests}? therefore it shall be, [that] what thing
soever thou shalt hear out of the king's house, thou shalt tell
[it]
to Zadok and Abiathar the priests.
priests <2SA15 -35> And [hast thou] not there with thee Zadok and
Abiathar the priests? therefore it shall be, [that] what thing
soever thou shalt hear out of the king's house, thou shalt tell
[it]
to Zadok and Abiathar the {priests}.
priests <2SA17 -15> Then said Hushai unto Zadok and to Abiathar
the
{priests}, Thus and thus did Ahithophel counsel Absalom and the
elders of Israel; and thus and thus have I counselled.
priests <2SA19 -11> And king David sent to Zadok and to Abiathar
the
{priests}, saying, Speak unto the elders of Judah, saying, Why
are
ye the last to bring the king back to his house? seeing the
speech
of all Israel is come to the king, [even] to his hou
se.
priests <2SA20 -25> And Sheva [was] scribe: and Zadok and
Abiathar
[were] the {priests}:
priests <1KI4 -4> And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada [was] over the
host: and Zadok and Abiathar [were] the {priests}:
priests <1KI8 -3> And all the elders of Israel came, and the
{priests} took up the ark.
priests <1KI8 -4> And they brought up the ark of the LORD, and
the
tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that
[were]
in the tabernacle, even those did the {priests} and the Levites
bring up.
priests <1KI8 -6> And the {priests} brought in the ark of the
covenant of the LORD unto his place, into the oracle of the
house,
to the most holy [place, even] under the wings of the cherubims.
priests <1KI8 -10> And it came to pass, when the {priests} were
come
out of the holy [place], that the cloud filled the house of the
LORD,
priests <1KI8 -11> So that the {priests} could not stand to
minister
because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the
house
of the LORD.
priests <1KI12 -31> And he made an house of high places, and made
{priests} of the lowest of the people, which were not of the
sons of
Levi.
priests <1KI12 -32> And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth
month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast
that
[is] in Judah, and he offered upon the altar. So did he in
Bethel,
sacrificing unto the calves that he had made: and he plac
ed in Bethel the {priests} of the high places which he had made.
priests <1KI13 -2> And he cried against the altar in the word of
the
LORD, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the LORD; Behold, a
child
shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon
thee
shall he offer the {priests} of the high places
that burn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall be burnt upon
thee.
priests <1KI13 -33> After this thing Jeroboam returned not from
his
evil way, but made again of the lowest of the people priests of
the
high places: whosoever would, he consecrated him, and he became
[one] of the {priests} of the high places.
priests <1KI13 -33> After this thing Jeroboam returned not from
his
evil way, but made again of the lowest of the people {priests} of
the high places: whosoever would, he consecrated him, and he
became
[one] of the priests of the high places.
priests <2KI10 -11> So Jehu slew all that remained of the house
of
Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great men, and his kinsfolks, and
his
{priests}, until he left him none remaining.
priests <2KI10 -19> Now therefore call unto me all the prophets
of
Baal, all his servants, and all his {priests}; let none be
wanting:
for I have a great sacrifice [to do] to Baal; whosoever shall be
wanting, he shall not live. But Jehu did [it] in subtle
ty, to the intent that he might destroy the worshippers of Baal.
priests <2KI12 -4> And Jehoash said to the {priests}, All the
money
of the dedicated things that is brought into the house of the
LORD,
[even] the money of every one that passeth [the account], the
money
that every man is set at, [and] all the money that
cometh into any man's heart to bring into the house of the LORD,
priests <2KI12 -5> Let the {priests} take [it] to them, every
man of
his acquaintance: and let them repair the breaches of the house,
wheresoever any breach shall be found.
priests <2KI12 -6> But it was [so, that] in the three and
twentieth
year of king Jehoash the {priests} had not repaired the breaches
of
the house.
priests <2KI12 -7> Then king Jehoash called for Jehoiada the
priest,
and the [other] {priests}, and said unto them, Why repair ye not
the
breaches of the house? now therefore receive no [more] money of
your
acquaintance, but deliver it for the breaches of
the house.
priests <2KI12 -8> And the {priests} consented to receive no
[more]
money of the people, neither to repair the breaches of the house.
priests <2KI12 -9> But Jehoiada the priest took a chest, and
bored a
hole in the lid of it, and set it beside the altar, on the right
side as one cometh into the house of the LORD: and the {priests}
that kept the door put therein all the money [that was]
brought into the house of the LORD.
priests <2KI12 -16> The trespass money and sin money was not
brought
into the house of the LORD: it was the {priests}'.
priests <2KI17 -27> Then the king of Assyria commanded, saying,
Carry thither one of the {priests} whom ye brought from thence;
and
let them go and dwell there, and let him teach them the manner of
the God of the land.
priests <2KI17 -28> Then one of the {priests} whom they had
carried
away from Samaria came and dwelt in Bethel, and taught them how
they
should fear the LORD.
priests <2KI17 -32> So they feared the LORD, and made unto
themselves of the lowest of them {priests} of the high places,
which
sacrificed for them in the houses of the high places.
priests <2KI19 -2> And he sent Eliakim, which [was] over the
household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the
{priests},
covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.
priests <2KI23 -2> And the king went up into the house of the
LORD,
and all the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem
with
him, and the {priests}, and the prophets, and all the people,
both
small and great: and he read in their ears all the wo
rds of the book of the covenant which was found in the house of
the
LORD.
priests <2KI23 -4> And the king commanded Hilkiah the high
priest,
and the {priests} of the second order, and the keepers of the
door,
to bring forth out of the temple of the LORD all the vessels that
were made for Baal, and for the grove, and for all the
host of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the
fields
of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Bethel.
priests <2KI23 -5> And he put down the idolatrous {priests}, whom
the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high
places
in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem;
them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and
to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.
priests <2KI23 -8> And he brought all the priests out of the
cities
of Judah, and defiled the high places where the {priests} had
burned
incense, from Geba to Beersheba, and brake down the high places
of
the gates that [were] in the entering in of the gat
e of Joshua the governor of the city, which [were] on a man's
left
hand at the gate of the city.
priests <2KI23 -8> And he brought all the {priests} out of the
cities of Judah, and defiled the high places where the priests
had
burned incense, from Geba to Beersheba, and brake down the high
places of the gates that [were] in the entering in of the gat
e of Joshua the governor of the city, which [were] on a man's
left
hand at the gate of the city.
priests <2KI23 -9> Nevertheless the {priests} of the high places
came not up to the altar of the LORD in Jerusalem, but they did
eat
of the unleavened bread among their brethren.
priests <2KI23 -20> And he slew all the {priests} of the high
places
that [were] there upon the altars, and burned men's bones upon
them,
and returned to Jerusalem.
priests <1CH9 -2> Now the first inhabitants that [dwelt] in their
possessions in their cities [were], the Israelites, the
{priests},
Levites, and the Nethinims.
priests <1CH9 -10> And of the {priests}; Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib,
and
Jachin,
priests <1CH9 -30> And [some] of the sons of the {priests} made
the
ointment of the spices.
priests <1CH13 -2> And David said unto all the congregation of
Israel, If [it seem] good unto you, and [that it be] of the LORD
our
God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, [that are]
left in all the land of Israel, and with them [also] to t
he {priests} and Levites [which are] in their cities [and]
suburbs,
that they may gather themselves unto us:
priests <1CH15 -11> And David called for Zadok and Abiathar the
{priests}, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel,
Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab,
priests <1CH15 -14> So the {priests} and the Levites sanctified
themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel.
priests <1CH15 -24> And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and
Nethaneel,
and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the
{priests},
did blow with the trumpets before the ark of God: and Obededom
and
Jehiah [were] doorkeepers for the ark.
priests <1CH16 -6> Benaiah also and Jahaziel the {priests} with
trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.
priests <1CH16 -39> And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the
{priests}, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place
that
[was] at Gibeon,
priests <1CH18 -16> And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Abimelech
the
son of Abiathar, [were] the {priests}; and Shavsha was scribe;
priests <1CH23 -2> And he gathered together all the princes of
Israel, with the {priests} and the Levites.
priests <1CH24 -6> And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe,
[one] of the Levites, wrote them before the king, and the
princes,
and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and
[before] the chief of the fathers of the {priests} and Levites
: one principal household being taken for Eleazar, and [one]
taken
for Ithamar.
priests <1CH24 -31> These likewise cast lots over against their
brethren the sons of Aaron in the presence of David the king, and
Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the chief of the fathers of the
{priests}
and Levites, even the principal fathers over against thei
r younger brethren.
priests <1CH28 -13> Also for the courses of the {priests} and the
Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of the
LORD, and for all the vessels of service in the house of the
LORD.
priests <1CH28 -21> And, behold, the courses of the {priests} and
the Levites, [even they shall be with thee] for all the service
of
the house of God: and [there shall be] with thee for all manner
of
workmanship every willing skilful man, for any manner o
f service: also the princes and all the people [will be] wholly
at
thy commandment.
priests <2CH4 -6> He made also ten lavers, and put five on the
right
hand, and five on the left, to wash in them: such things as they
offered for the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea
[was] for the {priests} to wash in.
priests <2CH4 -9> Furthermore he made the court of the {priests},
and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the
doors
of them with brass.
priests <2CH5 -5> And they brought up the ark, and the
tabernacle of
the congregation, and all the holy vessels that [were] in the
tabernacle, these did the {priests} [and] the Levites bring up.
priests <2CH5 -7> And the {priests} brought in the ark of the
covenant of the LORD unto his place, to the oracle of the house,
into the most holy [place, even] under the wings of the
cherubims:
priests <2CH5 -11> And it came to pass, when the priests were
come
out of the holy [place]: (for all the {priests} [that were]
present
were sanctified, [and] did not [then] wait by course:
priests <2CH5 -11> And it came to pass, when the {priests} were
come
out of the holy [place]: (for all the priests [that were] present
were sanctified, [and] did not [then] wait by course:
priests <2CH5 -12> Also the Levites [which were] the singers,
all of
them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their
brethren, [being] arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and
psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and
with them an hundred and twenty {priests} sounding with
trumpets:)
priests <2CH5 -14> So that the {priests} could not stand to
minister
by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the
house of God.
priests <2CH6 -41> Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy
resting
place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy {priests}, O
LORD
God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in
goodness.
priests <2CH7 -2> And the {priests} could not enter into the
house
of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD'S
house.
priests <2CH7 -6> And the {priests} waited on their offices: the
Levites also with instruments of music of the LORD, which David
the
king had made to praise the LORD, because his mercy [endureth]
for
ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the pri
ests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.
priests <2CH7 -6> And the priests waited on their offices: the
Levites also with instruments of music of the LORD, which David
the
king had made to praise the LORD, because his mercy [endureth]
for
ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the {prie
sts} sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.
priests <2CH8 -14> And he appointed, according to the order of
David
his father, the courses of the priests to their service, and the
Levites to their charges, to praise and minister before the
{priests}, as the duty of every day required: the porters als
o by their courses at every gate: for so had David the man of God
commanded.
priests <2CH8 -14> And he appointed, according to the order of
David
his father, the courses of the {priests} to their service, and
the
Levites to their charges, to praise and minister before the
priests,
as the duty of every day required: the porters als
o by their courses at every gate: for so had David the man of God
commanded.
priests <2CH8 -15> And they departed not from the commandment of
the
king unto the {priests} and Levites concerning any matter, or
concerning the treasures.
priests <2CH11 -13> And the {priests} and the Levites that
[were] in
all Israel resorted to him out of all their coasts.
priests <2CH11 -15> And he ordained him {priests} for the high
places, and for the devils, and for the calves which he had made.
priests <2CH13 -9> Have ye not cast out the priests of the LORD,
the
sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and have made you {priests} after
the manner of the nations of [other] lands? so that whosoever
cometh
to consecrate himself with a young bullock and seve
n rams, [the same] may be a priest of [them that are] no gods.
priests <2CH13 -9> Have ye not cast out the {priests} of the
LORD,
the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and have made you priests
after
the manner of the nations of [other] lands? so that whosoever
cometh
to consecrate himself with a young bullock and seve
n rams, [the same] may be a priest of [them that are] no gods.
priests <2CH13 -10> But as for us, the LORD [is] our God, and we
have not forsaken him; and the {priests}, which minister unto the
LORD, [are] the sons of Aaron, and the Levites [wait] upon
[their]
business:
priests <2CH13 -12> And, behold, God himself [is] with us for
[our]
captain, and his {priests} with sounding trumpets to cry alarm
against you. O children of Israel, fight ye not against the LORD
God
of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper.
priests <2CH13 -14> And when Judah looked back, behold, the
battle
[was] before and behind: and they cried unto the LORD, and the
{priests} sounded with the trumpets.
priests <2CH17 -8> And with them [he sent] Levites, [even]
Shemaiah,
and Nethaniah, and Zebadiah, and Asahel, and Shemiramoth, and
Jehonathan, and Adonijah, and Tobijah, and Tobadonijah, Levites;
and
with them Elishama and Jehoram, {priests}.
priests <2CH19 -8> Moreover in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of
the
Levites, and [of] the {priests}, and of the chief of the fathers
of
Israel, for the judgment of the LORD, and for controversies, when
they returned to Jerusalem.
priests <2CH23 -4> This [is] the thing that ye shall do; A third
part of you entering on the sabbath, of the {priests} and of the
Levites, [shall be] porters of the doors;
priests <2CH23 -6> But let none come into the house of the LORD,
save the {priests}, and they that minister of the Levites; they
shall go in, for they [are] holy: but all the people shall keep
the
watch of the LORD.
priests <2CH23 -18> Also Jehoiada appointed the offices of the
house
of the LORD by the hand of the {priests} the Levites, whom David
had
distributed in the house of the LORD, to offer the burnt
offerings
of the LORD, as [it is] written in the law of Mose
s, with rejoicing and with singing, [as it was ordained] by
David.
priests <2CH24 -5> And he gathered together the {priests} and the
Levites, and said to them, Go out unto the cities of Judah, and
gather of all Israel money to repair the house of your God from
year
to year, and see that ye hasten the matter. Howbeit the
Levites hastened [it] not.
priests <2CH26 -17> And Azariah the priest went in after him, and
with him fourscore {priests} of the LORD, [that were] valiant
men:
priests <2CH26 -18> And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said
unto him, [It appertaineth] not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn
incense
unto the LORD, but to the {priests} the sons of Aaron, that are
consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for t
hou hast trespassed; neither [shall it be] for thine honour from
the
LORD God.
priests <2CH26 -19> Then Uzziah was wroth, and [had] a censer in
his
hand to burn incense: and while he was wroth with the {priests},
the
leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the priests in the
house
of the LORD, from beside the incense altar.
priests <2CH26 -19> Then Uzziah was wroth, and [had] a censer in
his
hand to burn incense: and while he was wroth with the priests,
the
leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the {priests} in the
house of the LORD, from beside the incense altar.
priests <2CH26 -20> And Azariah the chief priest, and all the
{priests}, looked upon him, and, behold, he [was] leprous in his
forehead, and they thrust him out from thence; yea, himself
hasted
also to go out, because the LORD had smitten him.
priests <2CH29 -4> And he brought in the {priests} and the
Levites,
and gathered them together into the east street,
priests <2CH29 -16> And the {priests} went into the inner part of
the house of the LORD, to cleanse [it], and brought out all the
uncleanness that they found in the temple of the LORD into the
court
of the house of the LORD. And the Levites took [it], to
carry [it] out abroad into the brook Kidron.
priests <2CH29 -21> And they brought seven bullocks, and seven
rams,
and seven lambs, and seven he goats, for a sin offering for the
kingdom, and for the sanctuary, and for Judah. And he commanded
the
{priests} the sons of Aaron to offer [them] on the alt
ar of the LORD.
priests <2CH29 -22> So they killed the bullocks, and the
{priests}
received the blood, and sprinkled [it] on the altar: likewise,
when
they had killed the rams, they sprinkled the blood upon the
altar:
they killed also the lambs, and they sprinkled the bl
ood upon the altar.
priests <2CH29 -24> And the {priests} killed them, and they made
reconciliation with their blood upon the altar, to make an
atonement
for all Israel: for the king commanded [that] the burnt offering
and
the sin offering [should be made] for all Israel.
priests <2CH29 -26> And the Levites stood with the instruments of
David, and the {priests} with the trumpets.
priests <2CH29 -34> But the {priests} were too few, so that they
could not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren
the
Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the
[other] priests had sanctified themselves: for the Levites
[were] more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the
priests.
priests <2CH29 -34> But the priests were too few, so that they
could
not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren the
Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the
[other] priests had sanctified themselves: for the Levites [w
ere] more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the
{priests}.
priests <2CH29 -34> But the priests were too few, so that they
could
not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren the
Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the
[other] {priests} had sanctified themselves: for the Levites
[were] more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the
priests.
priests <2CH30 -3> For they could not keep it at that time,
because
the {priests} had not sanctified themselves sufficiently, neither
had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.
priests <2CH30 -15> Then they killed the passover on the
fourteenth
[day] of the second month: and the {priests} and the Levites were
ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought in the burnt
offerings into the house of the LORD.
priests <2CH30 -16> And they stood in their place after their
manner, according to the law of Moses the man of God: the
{priests}
sprinkled the blood, [which they received] of the hand of the
Levites.
priests <2CH30 -21> And the children of Israel that were present
at
Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with
great
gladness: and the Levites and the {priests} praised the LORD day
by
day, [singing] with loud instruments unto the LORD.
priests <2CH30 -24> For Hezekiah king of Judah did give to the
congregation a thousand bullocks and seven thousand sheep; and
the
princes gave to the congregation a thousand bullocks and ten
thousand sheep: and a great number of {priests} sanctified thems
elves.
priests <2CH30 -25> And all the congregation of Judah, with the
{priests} and the Levites, and all the congregation that came
out of
Israel, and the strangers that came out of the land of Israel,
and
that dwelt in Judah, rejoiced.
priests <2CH30 -27> Then the {priests} the Levites arose and
blessed
the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came
[up] to
his holy dwelling place, [even] unto heaven.
priests <2CH31 -2> And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the
priests
and the Levites after their courses, every man according to his
service, the {priests} and Levites for burnt offerings and for
peace
offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to pr
aise in the gates of the tents of the LORD.
priests <2CH31 -2> And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the
{priests} and the Levites after their courses, every man
according
to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and
for
peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to pr
aise in the gates of the tents of the LORD.
priests <2CH31 -4> Moreover he commanded the people that dwelt in
Jerusalem to give the portion of the {priests} and the Levites,
that
they might be encouraged in the law of the LORD.
priests <2CH31 -9> Then Hezekiah questioned with the {priests}
and
the Levites concerning the heaps.
priests <2CH31 -15> And next him [were] Eden, and Miniamin, and
Jeshua, and Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah, in the cities of
the
{priests}, in [their] set office, to give to their brethren by
courses, as well to the great as to the small:
priests <2CH31 -17> Both to the genealogy of the {priests} by the
house of their fathers, and the Levites from twenty years old and
upward, in their charges by their courses;
priests <2CH31 -19> Also of the sons of Aaron the {priests},
[which
were] in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, in every
several
city, the men that were expressed by name, to give portions to
all
the males among the priests, and to all that were r
eckoned by genealogies among the Levites.
priests <2CH31 -19> Also of the sons of Aaron the priests, [which
were] in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, in every
several
city, the men that were expressed by name, to give portions to
all
the males among the {priests}, and to all that were r
eckoned by genealogies among the Levites.
priests <2CH34 -5> And he burnt the bones of the {priests} upon
their altars, and cleansed Judah and Jerusalem.
priests <2CH34 -30> And the king went up into the house of the
LORD,
and all the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and
the
{priests}, and the Levites, and all the people, great and small:
and
he read in their ears all the words of the book o
f the covenant that was found in the house of the LORD.
priests <2CH35 -2> And he set the {priests} in their charges, and
encouraged them to the service of the house of the LORD,
priests <2CH35 -8> And his princes gave willingly unto the
people,
to the priests, and to the Levites: Hilkiah and Zechariah and
Jehiel, rulers of the house of God, gave unto the {priests} for
the
passover offerings two thousand and six hundred [small cat
tle], and three hundred oxen.
priests <2CH35 -8> And his princes gave willingly unto the
people,
to the {priests}, and to the Levites: Hilkiah and Zechariah and
Jehiel, rulers of the house of God, gave unto the priests for the
passover offerings two thousand and six hundred [small cat
tle], and three hundred oxen.
priests <2CH35 -10> So the service was prepared, and the
{priests}
stood in their place, and the Levites in their courses,
according to
the king's commandment.
priests <2CH35 -11> And they killed the passover, and the
{priests}
sprinkled [the blood] from their hands, and the Levites flayed
[them].
priests <2CH35 -14> And afterward they made ready for themselves,
and for the priests: because the {priests} the sons of Aaron
[were
busied] in offering of burnt offerings and the fat until night;
therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the
priests the sons of Aaron.
priests <2CH35 -14> And afterward they made ready for themselves,
and for the {priests}: because the priests the sons of Aaron
[were
busied] in offering of burnt offerings and the fat until night;
therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the
priests the sons of Aaron.
priests <2CH35 -14> And afterward they made ready for themselves,
and for the priests: because the priests the sons of Aaron [were
busied] in offering of burnt offerings and the fat until night;
therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the {
priests} the sons of Aaron.
priests <2CH35 -18> And there was no passover like to that kept
in
Israel from the days of Samuel the prophet; neither did all the
kings of Israel keep such a passover as Josiah kept, and the
{priests}, and the Levites, and all Judah and Israel that were
present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
priests <2CH36 -14> Moreover all the chief of the {priests}, and
the
people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the
heathen; and polluted the house of the LORD which he had
hallowed in
Jerusalem.
priests <EZR1 -5> Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah
and
Benjamin, and the {priests}, and the Levites, with all [them]
whose
spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD
which
[is] in Jerusalem.
priests <EZR2 -36> The {priests}: the children of Jedaiah, of the
house of Jeshua, nine hundred seventy and three.
priests <EZR2 -61> And of the children of the {priests}: the
children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of
Barzillai;
which took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite,
and
was called after their name:
priests <EZR2 -69> They gave after their ability unto the
treasure
of the work threescore and one thousand drams of gold, and five
thousand pound of silver, and one hundred {priests}' garments.
priests <EZR2 -70> So the {priests}, and the Levites, and [some]
of
the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims,
dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
priests <EZR3 -2> Then stood up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and
his
brethren the {priests}, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and
his
brethren, and builded the altar of the God of Israel, to offer
burnt
offerings thereon, as [it is] written in the law o
f Moses the man of God.
priests <EZR3 -8> Now in the second year of their coming unto the
house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel
the
son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant
of
their brethren the {priests} and the Levites, and al
l they that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem; and
appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to set
forward the work of the house of the LORD.
priests <EZR3 -10> And when the builders laid the foundation of
the
temple of the LORD, they set the {priests} in their apparel with
trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to
praise
the LORD, after the ordinance of David king of Israel.
priests <EZR3 -12> But many of the {priests} and Levites and
chief
of the fathers, [who were] ancient men, that had seen the first
house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their
eyes,
wept with a loud voice; and many shouted aloud for joy:
priests <EZR6 -9> And that which they have need of, both young
bullocks, and rams, and lambs, for the burnt offerings of the
God of
heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the appointment
of
the {priests} which [are] at Jerusalem, let it be given
them day by day without fail:
priests <EZR6 -16> And the children of Israel, the {priests}, and
the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept
the
dedication of this house of God with joy,
priests <EZR6 -18> And they set the {priests} in their divisions,
and the Levites in their courses, for the service of God, which
[is]
at Jerusalem; as it is written in the book of Moses.
priests <EZR6 -20> For the {priests} and the Levites were
purified
together, all of them [were] pure, and killed the passover for
all
the children of the captivity, and for their brethren the
priests,
and for themselves.
priests <EZR6 -20> For the priests and the Levites were purified
together, all of them [were] pure, and killed the passover for
all
the children of the captivity, and for their brethren the
{priests},
and for themselves.
priests <EZR7 -7> And there went up [some] of the children of
Israel, and of the {priests}, and the Levites, and the singers,
and
the porters, and the Nethinims, unto Jerusalem, in the seventh
year
of Artaxerxes the king.
priests <EZR7 -13> I make a decree, that all they of the people
of
Israel, and [of] his {priests} and Levites, in my realm, which
are
minded of their own freewill to go up to Jerusalem, go with thee.
priests <EZR7 -16> And all the silver and gold that thou canst
find
in all the province of Babylon, with the freewill offering of the
people, and of the {priests}, offering willingly for the house of
their God which [is] in Jerusalem:
priests <EZR7 -24> Also we certify you, that touching any of the
{priests} and Levites, singers, porters, Nethinims, or ministers
of
this house of God, it shall not be lawful to impose toll,
tribute,
or custom, upon them.
priests <EZR8 -15> And I gathered them together to the river that
runneth to Ahava; and there abode we in tents three days: and I
viewed the people, and the {priests}, and found there none of the
sons of Levi.
priests <EZR8 -24> Then I separated twelve of the chief of the
{priests}, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brethren with
them,
priests <EZR8 -29> Watch ye, and keep [them], until ye weigh
[them]
before the chief of the {priests} and the Levites, and chief of
the
fathers of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of
the
LORD.
priests <EZR8 -30> So took the {priests} and the Levites the
weight
of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring [them] to
Jerusalem unto the house of our God.
priests <EZR9 -1> Now when these things were done, the princes
came
to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the {priests}, and the
Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the
lands,
[doing] according to their abominations, [even] of the
Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the
Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.
priests <EZR9 -7> Since the days of our fathers [have] we [been]
in
a great trespass unto this day; and for our iniquities have we,
our
kings, [and] our {priests}, been delivered into the hand of the
kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, and to
a spoil, and to confusion of face, as [it is] this day.
priests <EZR10 -5> Then arose Ezra, and made the chief {priests},
the Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they should do
according
to this word. And they sware.
priests <EZR10 -18> And among the sons of the {priests} there
were
found that had taken strange wives: [namely], of the sons of
Jeshua
the son of Jozadak, and his brethren; Maaseiah, and Eliezer, and
Jarib, and Gedaliah.
priests <NEH2 -16> And the rulers knew not whither I went, or
what I
did; neither had I as yet told [it] to the Jews, nor to the
{priests}, nor to the nobles, nor to the rulers, nor to the rest
that did the work.
priests <NEH3 -1> Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his
brethren the {priests}, and they builded the sheep gate; they
sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even unto the tower of
Meah they sanctified it, unto the tower of Hananeel.
priests <NEH3 -22> And after him repaired the {priests}, the men
of
the plain.
priests <NEH3 -28> From above the horse gate repaired the
{priests},
every one over against his house.
priests <NEH5 -12> Then said they, We will restore [them], and
will
require nothing of them; so will we do as thou sayest. Then I
called
the {priests}, and took an oath of them, that they should do
according to this promise.
priests <NEH7 -39> The {priests}: the children of Jedaiah, of the
house of Jeshua, nine hundred seventy and three.
priests <NEH7 -63> And of the {priests}: the children of Habaiah,
the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai, which took [one]
of
the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite to wife, and was called
after their name.
priests <NEH7 -70> And some of the chief of the fathers gave unto
the work. The Tirshatha gave to the treasure a thousand drams of
gold, fifty basins, five hundred and thirty {priests}' garments.
priests <NEH7 -72> And [that] which the rest of the people gave
[was] twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand pound of
silver, and threescore and seven {priests}' garments.
priests <NEH7 -73> So the {priests}, and the Levites, and the
porters, and the singers, and [some] of the people, and the
Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the
seventh month came, the children of Israel [were] in their
cities.
priests <NEH8 -13> And on the second day were gathered together
the
chief of the fathers of all the people, the {priests}, and the
Levites, unto Ezra the scribe, even to understand the words of
the
law.
priests <NEH9 -32> Now therefore, our God, the great, the mighty,
and the terrible God, who keepest covenant and mercy, let not all
the trouble seem little before thee, that hath come upon us, on
our
kings, on our princes, and on our {priests}, and on our
prophets, and on our fathers, and on all thy people, since the
time
of the kings of Assyria unto this day.
priests <NEH9 -34> Neither have our kings, our princes, our
{priests}, nor our fathers, kept thy law, nor hearkened unto thy
commandments and thy testimonies, wherewith thou didst testify
against them.
priests <NEH9 -38> And because of all this we make a sure
[covenant], and write [it]; and our princes, Levites, [and]
{priests}, seal [unto it].
priests <NEH10 -8> Maaziah, Bilgai, Shemaiah: these [were] the
{priests}.
priests <NEH10 -28> And the rest of the people, the {priests},
the
Levites, the porters, the singers, the Nethinims, and all they
that
had separated themselves from the people of the lands unto the
law
of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters,
every one having knowledge, and having understanding;
priests <NEH10 -34> And we cast the lots among the {priests}, the
Levites, and the people, for the wood offering, to bring [it]
into
the house of our God, after the houses of our fathers, at times
appointed year by year, to burn upon the altar of the LORD
our God, as [it is] written in the law:
priests <NEH10 -36> Also the firstborn of our sons, and of our
cattle, as [it is] written in the law, and the firstlings of our
herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, unto
the
{priests} that minister in the house of our God:
priests <NEH10 -37> And [that] we should bring the firstfruits of
our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of
trees,
of wine and of oil, unto the {priests}, to the chambers of the
house
of our God; and the tithes of our ground unto the Le
vites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in all the
cities
of our tillage.
priests <NEH10 -39> For the children of Israel and the children
of
Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and
the
oil, unto the chambers, where [are] the vessels of the sanctuary,
and the {priests} that minister, and the porters, and
the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God.
priests <NEH11 -3> Now these [are] the chief of the province that
dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in
his possession in their cities, [to wit], Israel, the {priests},
and
the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of So
lomon's servants.
priests <NEH11 -10> Of the {priests}: Jedaiah the son of Joiarib,
Jachin.
priests <NEH11 -20> And the residue of Israel, of the {priests},
[and] the Levites, [were] in all the cities of Judah, every one
in
his inheritance.
priests <NEH12 -1> Now these [are] the {priests} and the Levites
that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua:
Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,
priests <NEH12 -7> Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These [were]
the
chief of the {priests} and of their brethren in the days of
Jeshua.
priests <NEH12 -12> And in the days of Joiakim were {priests},
the
chief of the fathers: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;
priests <NEH12 -22> The Levites in the days of Eliashib, Joiada,
and
Johanan, and Jaddua, [were] recorded chief of the fathers: also
the
{priests}, to the reign of Darius the Persian.
priests <NEH12 -30> And the {priests} and the Levites purified
themselves, and purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.
priests <NEH12 -35> And [certain] of the {priests}' sons with
trumpets; [namely], Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of
Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Michaiah, the son of
Zaccur, the son of Asaph:
priests <NEH12 -41> And the {priests}; Eliakim, Maaseiah,
Miniamin,
Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, [and] Hananiah, with trumpets;
priests <NEH12 -44> And at that time were some appointed over the
chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the
firstfruits,
and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the
cities the portions of the law for the {priests} and Lev
ites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that
waited.
priests <NEH12 -44> And at that time were some appointed over the
chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the
firstfruits,
and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the
cities the portions of the law for the priests and Levit
es: for Judah rejoiced for the {priests} and for the Levites that
waited.
priests <NEH13 -5> And he had prepared for him a great chamber,
where aforetime they laid the meat offerings, the frankincense,
and
the vessels, and the tithes of the corn, the new wine, and the
oil,
which was commanded [to be given] to the Levites, and t
he singers, and the porters; and the offerings of the {priests}.
priests <NEH13 -30> Thus cleansed I them from all strangers, and
appointed the wards of the {priests} and the Levites, every one
in
his business;
priests <PSA78 -64> Their {priests} fell by the sword; and their
widows made no lamentation.
priests <PSA99 -6> Moses and Aaron among his {priests}, and
Samuel
among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD,
and
he answered them.
priests <PSA132 -9> Let thy {priests} be clothed with
righteousness;
and let thy saints shout for joy.
priests <PSA132 -16> I will also clothe her {priests} with
salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
priests <ISA37 -2> And he sent Eliakim, who [was] over the
household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the {priests}
covered with sackcloth, unto Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.
priests <ISA61 -6> But ye shall be named the {Priests} of the
LORD:
[men] shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the
riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast
yourselves.
priests <ISA66 -21> And I will also take of them for {priests}
[and]
for Levites, saith the LORD.
priests <JER1 -1> The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of
the
{priests} that [were] in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin:
priests <JER1 -18> For, behold, I have made thee this day a
defenced
city, and an iron pillar, and brazen walls against the whole
land,
against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against
the
{priests} thereof, and against the people of the l
and.
priests <JER2 -8> The {priests} said not, Where [is] the LORD?
and
they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also
transgressed
against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after
[things that] do not profit.
priests <JER2 -26> As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so
is
the house of Israel ashamed; they, their kings, their princes,
and
their {priests}, and their prophets,
priests <JER4 -9> And it shall come to pass at that day, saith
the
LORD, [that] the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of
the princes; and the {priests} shall be astonished, and the
prophets
shall wonder.
priests <JER5 -31> The prophets prophesy falsely, and the
{priests}
bear rule by their means; and my people love [to have it] so: and
what will ye do in the end thereof?
priests <JER8 -1> At that time, saith the LORD, they shall bring
out
the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes,
and
the bones of the {priests}, and the bones of the prophets, and
the
bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their
graves:
priests <JER13 -13> Then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the
LORD, Behold, I will fill all the inhabitants of this land, even
the
kings that sit upon David's throne, and the {priests}, and the
prophets, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, with drun
kenness.
priests <JER19 -1> Thus saith the LORD, Go and get a potter's
earthen bottle, and [take] of the ancients of the people, and of
the
ancients of the {priests};
priests <JER26 -7> So the {priests} and the prophets and all the
people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the
LORD.
priests <JER26 -8> Now it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an
end of speaking all that the LORD had commanded [him] to speak
unto
all the people, that the {priests} and the prophets and all the
people took him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.
priests <JER26 -11> Then spake the {priests} and the prophets
unto
the princes and to all the people, saying, This man [is] worthy
to
die; for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard
with
your ears.
priests <JER26 -16> Then said the princes and all the people unto
the {priests} and to the prophets; This man [is] not worthy to
die:
for he hath spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God.
priests <JER27 -16> Also I spake to the {priests} and to all this
people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Hearken not to the words of
your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the
vessels of
the LORD'S house shall now shortly be brought again fro
m Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
priests <JER28 -1> And it came to pass the same year, in the
beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth
year, [and] in the fifth month, [that] Hananiah the son of Azur
the
prophet, which [was] of Gibeon, spake unto me in the house of
the LORD, in the presence of the {priests} and of all the people,
saying,
priests <JER28 -5> Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the
prophet
Hananiah in the presence of the {priests}, and in the presence of
all the people that stood in the house of the LORD,
priests <JER29 -1> Now these [are] the words of the letter that
Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem unto the residue of the
elders which were carried away captives, and to the {priests},
and
to the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar
had carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon;
priests <JER29 -25> Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel, saying, Because thou hast sent letters in thy name unto
all
the people that [are] at Jerusalem, and to Zephaniah the son of
Maaseiah the priest, and to all the {priests}, saying,
priests <JER31 -14> And I will satiate the soul of the {priests}
with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness,
saith the LORD.
priests <JER32 -32> Because of all the evil of the children of
Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to
provoke
me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their {priests},
and
their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitan
ts of Jerusalem.
priests <JER33 -18> Neither shall the {priests} the Levites want
a
man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat
offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
priests <JER33 -21> Then] may also my covenant be broken with
David
my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his
throne;
and with the Levites the {priests}, my ministers.
priests <JER34 -19> The princes of Judah, and the princes of
Jerusalem, the eunuchs, and the {priests}, and all the people of
the
land, which passed between the parts of the calf;
priests <JER48 -7> For because thou hast trusted in thy works
and in
thy treasures, thou shalt also be taken: and Chemosh shall go
forth
into captivity [with] his {priests} and his princes together.
priests <JER49 -3> Howl, O Heshbon, for Ai is spoiled: cry, ye
daughters of Rabbah, gird you with sackcloth; lament, and run to
and
fro by the hedges; for their king shall go into captivity, [and]
his
{priests} and his princes together.
priests <LAM1 -4> The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to
the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her {priests}
sigh,
her virgins are afflicted, and she [is] in bitterness.
priests <LAM1 -19> I called for my lovers, [but] they deceived
me:
my {priests} and mine elders gave up the ghost in the city, while
they sought their meat to relieve their souls.
priests <LAM4 -13> For the sins of her prophets, [and] the
iniquities of her {priests}, that have shed the blood of the
just in
the midst of her,
priests <LAM4 -16> The anger of the LORD hath divided them; he
will
no more regard them: they respected not the persons of the
{priests}, they favoured not the elders.
priests <EZE22 -26> Her {priests} have violated my law, and have
profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between
the
holy and profane, neither have they showed [difference] between
the
unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my
sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.
priests <EZE40 -45> And he said unto me, This chamber, whose
prospect [is] toward the south, [is] for the {priests}, the
keepers
of the charge of the house.
priests <EZE40 -46> And the chamber whose prospect [is] toward
the
north [is] for the {priests}, the keepers of the charge of the
altar: these [are] the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi,
which
come near to the LORD to minister unto him.
priests <EZE42 -13> Then said he unto me, The north chambers
[and]
the south chambers, which [are] before the separate place, they
[be]
holy chambers, where the {priests} that approach unto the LORD
shall
eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the
most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering,
and
the trespass offering; for the place [is] holy.
priests <EZE42 -14> When the {priests} enter therein, then shall
they not go out of the holy [place] into the utter court, but
there
they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they
[are]
holy; and shall put on other garments, and shall appro
ach to [those things] which [are] for the people.
priests <EZE43 -19> And thou shalt give to the {priests} the
Levites
that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister
unto me, saith the Lord GOD, a young bullock for a sin offering.
priests <EZE43 -24> And thou shalt offer them before the LORD,
and
the {priests} shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer
them
up [for] a burnt offering unto the LORD.
priests <EZE43 -27> And when these days are expired, it shall be,
[that] upon the eighth day, and [so] forward, the {priests} shall
make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace
offerings;
and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.
priests <EZE44 -15> But the {priests} the Levites, the sons of
Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of
Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to
minister
unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the
fat and the blood, saith the Lord GOD:
priests <EZE44 -31> The {priests} shall not eat of any thing
that is
dead of itself, or torn, whether it be fowl or beast.
priests <EZE45 -4> The holy [portion] of the land shall be for
the
{priests} the ministers of the sanctuary, which shall come near
to
minister unto the LORD: and it shall be a place for their houses,
and an holy place for the sanctuary.
priests <EZE46 -2> And the prince shall enter by the way of the
porch of [that] gate without, and shall stand by the post of the
gate, and the {priests} shall prepare his burnt offering and his
peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the
gate: then he shall go forth; but the gate shall not be shut
until
the evening.
priests <EZE46 -19> After he brought me through the entry, which
[was] at the side of the gate, into the holy chambers of the
{priests}, which looked toward the north: and, behold, there
[was] a
place on the two sides westward.
priests <EZE46 -20> Then said he unto me, This [is] the place
where
the {priests} shall boil the trespass offering and the sin
offering,
where they shall bake the meat offering; that they bear [them]
not
out into the utter court, to sanctify the people.
priests <EZE48 -10> And for them, [even] for the {priests},
shall be
[this] holy oblation; toward the north five and twenty thousand
[in
length], and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward
the
east ten thousand in breadth, and toward the sout
h five and twenty thousand in length: and the sanctuary of the
LORD
shall be in the midst thereof.
priests <EZE48 -11> It shall be] for the {priests} that are
sanctified of the sons of Zadok; which have kept my charge, which
went not astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the
Levites went astray.
priests <EZE48 -13> And over against the border of the {priests}
the
Levites [shall have] five and twenty thousand in length, and ten
thousand in breadth: all the length [shall be] five and twenty
thousand, and the breadth ten thousand.
priests <HOS5 -1> Hear ye this, O {priests}; and hearken, ye
house
of Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for judgment
[is]
toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net
spread
upon Tabor.
priests <HOS6 -9> And as troops of robbers wait for a man, [so]
the
company of {priests} murder in the way by consent: for they
commit
lewdness.
priests <HOS10 -5> The inhabitants of Samaria shall fear because
of
the calves of Bethaven: for the people thereof shall mourn over
it,
and the {priests} thereof [that] rejoiced on it, for the glory
thereof, because it is departed from it.
priests <JOE1 -9> The meat offering and the drink offering is cut
off from the house of the LORD; the {priests}, the LORD'S
ministers,
mourn.
priests <JOE1 -13> Gird yourselves, and lament, ye {priests}:
howl,
ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye
ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink
offering is
withholden from the house of your God.
priests <JOE2 -17> Let the {priests}, the ministers of the LORD,
weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy
people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the
heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say a
mong the people, Where [is] their God?
priests <MIC3 -11> The heads thereof judge for reward, and the
{priests} thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine
for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, [Is] not
the
LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.
priests <ZEP1 -4> I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah,
and
upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the
remnant of Baal from this place, [and] the name of the Chemarims
with the {priests};
priests <ZEP3 -4> Her prophets [are] light [and] treacherous
persons: her {priests} have polluted the sanctuary, they have
done
violence to the law.
priests <HAG2 -11> Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the
{priests} [concerning] the law, saying,
priests <HAG2 -12> If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his
garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine,
or
oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the {priests} answered
and
said, No.
priests <HAG2 -13> Then said Haggai, If [one that is] unclean by
a
dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the
{priests}
answered and said, It shall be unclean.
priests <ZEC7 -3> And] to speak unto the {priests} which [were]
in
the house of the LORD of hosts, and to the prophets, saying,
Should
I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done
these
so many years?
priests <ZEC7 -5> Speak unto all the people of the land, and to
the
{priests}, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and
seventh [month], even those seventy years, did ye at all fast
unto
me, [even] to me?
priests <MAL1 -6> A son honoureth [his] father, and a servant his
master: if then I [be] a father, where [is] mine honour? and if I
[be] a master, where [is] my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto
you,
O {priests}, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein
have we despised thy name?
priests <MAL2 -1> And now, O ye {priests}, this commandment [is]
for
you.
priests <MAT2 -4> And when he had gathered all the chief
{priests}
and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where
Christ
should be born.
priests <MAT12 -4> How he entered into the house of God, and did
eat
the showbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for
them
which were with him, but only for the {priests}?
priests <MAT12 -5> Or have ye not read in the law, how that on
the
sabbath days the {priests} in the temple profane the sabbath, and
are blameless?
priests <MAT16 -21> From that time forth began Jesus to show unto
his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer
many
things of the elders and chief {priests} and scribes, and be
killed,
and be raised again the third day.
priests <MAT20 -18> Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of
man shall be betrayed unto the chief {priests} and unto the
scribes,
and they shall condemn him to death,
priests <MAT21 -15> And when the chief {priests} and scribes saw
the
wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the
temple,
and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore
displeased,
priests <MAT21 -23> And when he was come into the temple, the
chief
{priests} and the elders of the people came unto him as he was
teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things?
and
who gave thee this authority?
priests <MAT21 -45> And when the chief {priests} and Pharisees
had
heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.
priests <MAT26 -3> Then assembled together the chief {priests},
and
the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the
high priest, who was called Caiaphas,
priests <MAT26 -14> Then one of the twelve, called Judas
Iscariot,
went unto the chief {priests},
priests <MAT26 -47> And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the
twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and
staves,
from the chief {priests} and elders of the people.
priests <MAT26 -59> Now the chief {priests}, and elders, and all
the
council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;
priests <MAT27 -1> When the morning was come, all the chief
{priests} and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to
put
him to death:
priests <MAT27 -3> Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he
saw
that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the
thirty pieces of silver to the chief {priests} and elders,
priests <MAT27 -6> And the chief {priests} took the silver
pieces,
and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury,
because it is the price of blood.
priests <MAT27 -12> And when he was accused of the chief
{priests}
and elders, he answered nothing.
priests <MAT27 -20> But the chief {priests} and elders persuaded
the
multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.
priests <MAT27 -41> Likewise also the chief {priests} mocking
[him],
with the scribes and elders, said,
priests <MAT27 -62> Now the next day, that followed the day of
the
preparation, the chief {priests} and Pharisees came together unto
Pilate,
priests <MAT28 -11> Now when they were going, behold, some of the
watch came into the city, and showed unto the chief {priests} all
the things that were done.
priests <MAR2 -26> How he went into the house of God in the days
of
Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the showbread, which is not
lawful to eat but for the {priests}, and gave also to them which
were with him?
priests <MAR8 -31> And he began to teach them, that the Son of
man
must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of]
the
chief {priests}, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days
rise again.
priests <MAR10 -33> Saying], Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and
the
Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief {priests}, and unto
the
scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver
him
to the Gentiles:
priests <MAR11 -18> And the scribes and chief {priests} heard
it],
and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him,
because
all the people was astonished at his doctrine.
priests <MAR11 -27> And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he
was
walking in the temple, there come to him the chief {priests}, and
the scribes, and the elders,
priests <MAR14 -1> After two days was the feast of] the passover,
and of unleavened bread: and the chief {priests} and the scribes
sought how they might take him by craft, and put him] to death.
priests <MAR14 -10> And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went
unto
the chief {priests}, to betray him unto them.
priests <MAR14 -43> And immediately, while he yet spake, cometh
Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with
swords
and staves, from the chief {priests} and the scribes and the
elders.
priests <MAR14 -53> And they led Jesus away to the high priest:
and
with him were assembled all the chief {priests} and the elders
and
the scribes.
priests <MAR14 -55> And the chief {priests} and all the council
sought for witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found
none.
priests <MAR15 -1> And straightway in the morning the chief
{priests} held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the
whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him] away, and
delivered
him] to Pilate.
priests <MAR15 -3> And the chief {priests} accused him of many
things: but he answered nothing.
priests <MAR15 -10> For he knew that the chief {priests} had
delivered him for envy.
priests <MAR15 -11> But the chief {priests} moved the people,
that
he should rather release Barabbas unto them.
priests <MAR15 -31> Likewise also the chief {priests} mocking
said
among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he
cannot save.
priests <LUK3 -2> Annas and Caiaphas being the high {priests},
the
word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the
wilderness.
priests <LUK6 -4> How he went into the house of God, and did take
and eat the showbread, and gave also to them that were with him;
which it is not lawful to eat but for the {priests} alone?
priests <LUK9 -22> Saying, The Son of man must suffer many
things,
and be rejected of the elders and chief {priests} and scribes,
and
be slain, and be raised the third day.
priests <LUK17 -14> And when he saw them], he said unto them, Go
show yourselves unto the {priests}. And it came to pass, that, as
they went, they were cleansed.
priests <LUK19 -47> And he taught daily in the temple. But the
chief
{priests} and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to
destroy him,
priests <LUK20 -1> And it came to pass, that] on one of those
days,
as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel,
the
chief {priests} and the scribes came upon him] with the elders,
priests <LUK20 -19> And the chief {priests} and the scribes the
same
hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for
they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.
priests <LUK22 -2> And the chief {priests} and scribes sought how
they might kill him; for they feared the people.
priests <LUK22 -4> And he went his way, and communed with the
chief
{priests} and captains, how he might betray him unto them.
priests <LUK22 -52> Then Jesus said unto the chief {priests}, and
captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him,
Be
ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves?
priests <LUK22 -66> And as soon as it was day, the elders of the
people and the chief {priests} and the scribes came together, and
led him into their council, saying,
priests <LUK23 -4> Then said Pilate to the chief {priests} and
to]
the people, I find no fault in this man.
priests <LUK23 -10> And the chief {priests} and scribes stood and
vehemently accused him.
priests <LUK23 -13> And Pilate, when he had called together the
chief {priests} and the rulers and the people,
priests <LUK23 -23> And they were instant with loud voices,
requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and
of
the chief {priests} prevailed.
priests <LUK24 -20> And how the chief {priests} and our rulers
delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.
priests <JOH1 -19> And this is the record of John, when the Jews
sent {priests} and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art
thou?
priests <JOH7 -32> The Pharisees heard that the people murmured
such
things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief {priests}
sent officers to take him.
priests <JOH7 -45> Then came the officers to the chief {priests}
and
Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him?
priests <JOH11 -47> Then gathered the chief {priests} and the
Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth
many
miracles.
priests <JOH11 -57> Now both the chief {priests} and the
Pharisees
had given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he
should show it], that they might take him.
priests <JOH12 -10> But the chief {priests} consulted that they
might put Lazarus also to death;
priests <JOH18 -3> Judas then, having received a band of men] and
officers from the chief {priests} and Pharisees, cometh thither
with
lanterns and torches and weapons.
priests <JOH18 -35> Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation
and the chief {priests} have delivered thee unto me: what hast
thou
done?
priests <JOH19 -6> When the chief {priests} therefore and
officers
saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him], crucify him].
Pilate
saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him]: for I find no
fault
in him.
priests <JOH19 -15> But they cried out, Away with him], away with
him], crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your
King? The chief {priests} answered, We have no king but Caesar.
priests <JOH19 -21> Then said the chief {priests} of the Jews to
Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am
King
of the Jews.
priests <ACT4 -1> And as they spake unto the people, the
{priests},
and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,
priests <ACT4 -23> And being let go, they went to their own
company,
and reported all that the chief {priests} and elders had said
unto
them.
priests <ACT5 -24> Now when the high priest and the captain of
the
temple and the chief {priests} heard these things, they doubted
of
them whereunto this would grow.
priests <ACT6 -7> And the word of God increased; and the number
of
the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great
company
of the {priests} were obedient to the faith.
priests <ACT9 -14> And here he hath authority from the chief
{priests} to bind all that call on thy name.
priests <ACT9 -21> But all that heard him] were amazed, and said;
Is
not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in
Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring
them
bound unto the chief {priests}?
priests <ACT19 -14> And there were seven sons of one] Sceva, a
Jew,
and] chief of the {priests}, which did so.
priests <ACT22 -30> On the morrow, because he would have known
the
certainty wherefore he was accused of the Jews, he loosed him
from
his] bands, and commanded the chief {priests} and all their
council
to appear, and brought Paul down, and set him before
them.
priests <ACT23 -14> And they came to the chief {priests} and
elders,
and said, We have bound ourselves under a great curse, that we
will
eat nothing until we have slain Paul.
priests <ACT25 -15> About whom, when I was at Jerusalem, the
chief
{priests} and the elders of the Jews informed me], desiring to
have]
judgment against him.
priests <ACT26 -10> Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and
many of
the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority
from
the chief {priests}; and when they were put to death, I gave my
voice against them].
priests <ACT26 -12> Whereupon as I went to Damascus with
authority
and commission from the chief {priests},
priests <HEB7 -21> For those {priests} were made without an oath;
but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware
and
will not repent, Thou art] a priest for ever after the order of
Melchisedec:)
priests <HEB7 -23> And they truly were many {priests}, because
they
were not suffered to continue by reason of death:
priests <HEB7 -27> Who needeth not daily, as those high
{priests},
to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the
people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
priests <HEB7 -28> For the law maketh men high {priests} which
have
infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law,
maketh] the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.
priests <HEB8 -4> For if he were on earth, he should not be a
priest, seeing that there are {priests} that offer gifts
according
to the law:
priests <HEB9 -6> Now when these things were thus ordained, the
{priests} went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing
the
service of God].
priests <REV1 -6> And hath made us kings and {priests} unto God
and
his Father; to him be] glory and dominion for ever and ever.
Amen.
priests <REV5 -10> And hast made us unto our God kings and
{priests}: and we shall reign on the earth.
priests <REV20 -6> Blessed and holy is] he that hath part in the
first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but
they
shall be {priests} of God and of Christ, and shall reign with
him a
thousand years.
