heifer <GEN15 -9> And he said unto him, Take me an {heifer} of

three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of

three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

heifer <NUM19 -2> This [is] the ordinance of the law which the

LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel,

that they bring thee a red {heifer} without spot, wherein [is]

no blemish, [and] upon which never came yoke:

children of Israel for a water of separation: it [is] a

purificati

on for sin.

heifer <NUM19 -10> And he that gathereth the ashes of the

{heifer} shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even:

and it shall be unto the children of Israel, and unto the

stranger that sojourneth among them, for a statute for ever.

heifer <NUM19 -17> And for an unclean [person] they shall take

of the ashes of the burnt {heifer} of purification for sin, and

running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:

heifer <DEU21 -3> And it shall be, [that] the city [which is]

next unto the slain man, even the elders of that city shall take

an {heifer}, which hath not been wrought with, [and] which hath

not drawn in the yoke;

heifer <DEU21 -4> And the elders of that city shall bring down

the {heifer} unto a rough valley, which is neither eared nor

sown, and shall strike off the heifer's neck there in the valley:

{heifer} that is beheaded in the valley:

seventh day before the sun went down, What [is] sweeter than

honey? and what [is] stronger than a lion? And he said unto them,

 If ye had not plowed with my {heifer}, ye had not found out my r

iddle.
