[and]
shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.
head <NUM6 -7> He shall not make himself unclean for his father,

neighbour
to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the ax to cut
down
the tree, and the {head} slippeth from the helve, and lighteth
upon
his neighbour, that he die; he shall flee unto one
of those cities, and live:
head <DEU21 -12> Then thou shalt bring her home to thine house;
and
she shall shave her {head}, and pare her nails;
head <DEU28 -13> And the LORD shall make thee the {head}, and not
the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be
beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD
thy
God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do [t
hem]:
head <DEU28 -23> And thy heaven that [is] over thy {head} shall
be
brass, and the earth that is under thee [shall be] iron.
head <DEU28 -35> The LORD shall smite thee in the knees, and in
the
legs, with a sore botch that cannot be healed, from the sole of

the top of the head of him [that was] separated from his bret
hren.
head <DEU33 -16> And for the precious things of the earth and

the
top of the {head} of him [that was] separated from his bret
hren.

thee in the house, his blood [shall be] on our {head}, if
[any] hand be upon him.
head <JOS2 -19> And it shall be, [that] whosoever shall go out of
the doors of thy house into the street, his blood [shall be] upon
his {head}, and we [will be] guiltless: and whosoever shall be
with
thee in the house, his blood [shall be] on our head, if
[any] hand be upon him.
head <JOS11 -10> And Joshua at that time turned back, and took

his
temples.
head <JUG9 -53> And a certain woman cast a piece of a millstone
upon
Abimelech's {head}, and all to brake his skull.
head <JUG10 -18> And the people [and] princes of Gilead said one
to
another, What man [is he] that will begin to fight against the
children of Ammon? he shall be {head} over all the inhabitants of
Gilead.
head <JUG11 -8> And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah,
Therefore we turn again to thee now, that thou mayest go with us,
and fight against the children of Ammon, and be our {head} over
all
the inhabitants of Gilead.
head <JUG11 -9> And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, If
ye
bring me home again to fight against the children of Ammon, and
the
LORD deliver them before me, shall I be your {head}?
head <JUG11 -11> Then Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead,
and
the people made him {head} and captain over them: and Jephthah
uttered all his words before the LORD in Mizpeh.
head <JUG13 -5> For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son;
and no
razor shall come on his {head}: for the child shall be a Nazarite
unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out
of
the hand of the Philistines.
head <JUG16 -13> And Delilah said unto Samson, Hitherto thou hast
mocked me, and told me lies: tell me wherewith thou mightest be
bound. And he said unto her, If thou weavest the seven locks of
my
{head} with the web.
head <JUG16 -17> That he told her all his heart, and said unto
her,
There hath not come a razor upon mine {head}; for I [have been] a
Nazarite unto God from my mother's womb: if I be shaven, then my
strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and b
e like any [other] man.
head <JUG16 -19> And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she
called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven
locks of
his {head}; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went
from
him.
head <JUG16 -22> Howbeit the hair of his {head} began to grow
again
after he was shaven.
head <1SA1 -11> And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts,
if
thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and
remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto
thine
handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD
all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his
{head}.
head <1SA4 -12> And there ran a man of Benjamin out of the army,
and
came to Shiloh the same day with his clothes rent, and with earth
upon his {head}.
head <1SA5 -4> And when they arose early on the morrow morning,
behold, Dagon [was] fallen upon his face to the ground before the
ark of the LORD; and the {head} of Dagon and both the palms of
his
hands [were] cut off upon the threshold; only [the stump o
f] Dagon was left to him.
head <1SA10 -1> Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured [it]
upon
his {head}, and kissed him, and said, [Is it] not because the
LORD
hath anointed thee [to be] captain over his inheritance?
head <1SA14 -45> And the people said unto Saul, Shall Jonathan
die,
who hath wrought this great salvation in Israel? God forbid: [as]
the LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of his {head} fall to
the
ground; for he hath wrought with God this day. So the
people rescued Jonathan, that he died not.
head <1SA15 -17> And Samuel said, When thou [wast] little in
thine
own sight, [wast] thou not [made] the {head} of the tribes of
Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel?
head <1SA17 -5> And [he had] an helmet of brass upon his {head},
and
he [was] armed with a coat of mail; and the weight of the coat
[was]
five thousand shekels of brass.
head <1SA17 -7> And the staff of his spear [was] like a weaver's
beam; and his spear's {head} [weighed] six hundred shekels of
iron:
and one bearing a shield went before him.
head <1SA17 -38> And Saul armed David with his armour, and he
put an
helmet of brass upon his {head}; also he armed him with a coat of
mail.
head <1SA17 -46> This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine
hand;
and I will smite thee, and take thine {head} from thee; and I
will
give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto
the
fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the eart
h; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
head <1SA17 -51> Therefore David ran, and stood upon the
Philistine,
and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and
slew
him, and cut off his {head} therewith. And when the Philistines
saw
their champion was dead, they fled.
head <1SA17 -54> And David took the {head} of the Philistine, and
brought it to Jerusalem; but he put his armour in his tent.
head <1SA17 -57> And as David returned from the slaughter of the
Philistine, Abner took him, and brought him before Saul with the
{head} of the Philistine in his hand.
head <1SA25 -39> And when David heard that Nabal was dead, he
said,
Blessed [be] the LORD, that hath pleaded the cause of my reproach
from the hand of Nabal, and hath kept his servant from evil: for
the
LORD hath returned the wickedness of Nabal upon his
own {head}. And David sent and communed with Abigail, to take
her to
him to wife.
head <1SA28 -2> And David said to Achish, Surely thou shalt know
what thy servant can do. And Achish said to David, Therefore
will I
make thee keeper of mine {head} for ever.
head <1SA31 -9> And they cut off his {head}, and stripped off his
armour, and sent into the land of the Philistines round about, to
publish [it in] the house of their idols, and among the people.
head <2SA1 -2> It came even to pass on the third day, that,
behold,
a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes rent, and
earth upon his {head}: and [so] it was, when he came to David,
that
he fell to the earth, and did obeisance.
head <2SA1 -10> So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was
sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took
the
crown that [was] upon his {head}, and the bracelet that [was] on
his
arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord.
head <2SA1 -16> And David said unto him, Thy blood [be] upon thy
{head}; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have
slain the LORD'S anointed.
head <2SA2 -16> And they caught every one his fellow by the
{head},
and [thrust] his sword in his fellow's side; so they fell down
together: wherefore that place was called Helkathhazzurim, which
[is] in Gibeon.
head <2SA3 -8> Then was Abner very wroth for the words of
Ishbosheth, and said, [Am] I a dog's {head}, which against Judah
do
show kindness this day unto the house of Saul thy father, to his
brethren, and to his friends, and have not delivered thee into t
he hand of David, that thou chargest me to day with a fault
concerning this woman?
head <2SA3 -29> Let it rest on the {head} of Joab, and on all his
father's house; and let there not fail from the house of Joab one
that hath an issue, or that is a leper, or that leaneth on a
staff,
or that falleth on the sword, or that lacketh bread.
head <2SA4 -7> For when they came into the house, he lay on his
bed
in his bedchamber, and they smote him, and slew him, and beheaded
him, and took his {head}, and gat them away through the plain all
night.
head <2SA4 -8> And they brought the {head} of Ishbosheth unto
David
to Hebron, and said to the king, Behold the head of Ishbosheth
the
son of Saul thine enemy, which sought thy life; and the LORD hath
avenged my lord the king this day of Saul, and of his
seed.
head <2SA4 -8> And they brought the head of Ishbosheth unto
David to
Hebron, and said to the king, Behold the {head} of Ishbosheth the
son of Saul thine enemy, which sought thy life; and the LORD hath
avenged my lord the king this day of Saul, and of his
seed.
head <2SA4 -12> And David commanded his young men, and they slew
them, and cut off their hands and their feet, and hanged [them]
up
over the pool in Hebron. But they took the {head} of Ishbosheth,
and
buried [it] in the sepulchre of Abner in Hebron.
head <2SA12 -30> And he took their king's crown from off his
head,
the weight whereof [was] a talent of gold with the precious
stones:
and it was [set] on David's {head}. And he brought forth the
spoil
of the city in great abundance.
head <2SA12 -30> And he took their king's crown from off his
{head},
the weight whereof [was] a talent of gold with the precious
stones:
and it was [set] on David's head. And he brought forth the spoil
of
the city in great abundance.
head <2SA13 -19> And Tamar put ashes on her head, and rent her
garment of divers colours that [was] on her, and laid her hand on
her {head}, and went on crying.
head <2SA13 -19> And Tamar put ashes on her {head}, and rent her
garment of divers colours that [was] on her, and laid her hand on
her head, and went on crying.
head <2SA14 -25> But in all Israel there was none to be so much
praised as Absalom for his beauty: from the sole of his foot
even to
the crown of his {head} there was no blemish in him.
head <2SA14 -26> And when he polled his head, (for it was at
every
year's end that he polled [it]: because [the hair] was heavy on
him,
therefore he polled it:) he weighed the hair of his {head} at two
hundred shekels after the king's weight.
head <2SA14 -26> And when he polled his {head}, (for it was at
every
year's end that he polled [it]: because [the hair] was heavy on
him,
therefore he polled it:) he weighed the hair of his head at two
hundred shekels after the king's weight.
head <2SA15 -30> And David went up by the ascent of [mount]
Olivet,
and wept as he went up, and had his head covered, and he went
barefoot: and all the people that [was] with him covered every
man
his {head}, and they went up, weeping as they went up.
head <2SA15 -30> And David went up by the ascent of [mount]
Olivet,
and wept as he went up, and had his {head} covered, and he went
barefoot: and all the people that [was] with him covered every
man
his head, and they went up, weeping as they went up.
head <2SA15 -32> And it came to pass, that [when] David was come
to
the top [of the mount], where he worshipped God, behold, Hushai
the
Archite came to meet him with his coat rent, and earth upon his
{head}:
head <2SA16 -9> Then said Abishai the son of Zeruiah unto the
king,
Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? let me go over,
I
pray thee, and take off his {head}.
head <2SA18 -9> And Absalom met the servants of David. And
Absalom
rode upon a mule, and the mule went under the thick boughs of a
great oak, and his {head} caught hold of the oak, and he was
taken
up between the heaven and the earth; and the mule that [w
as] under him went away.
head <2SA20 -21> The matter [is] not so: but a man of mount
Ephraim,
Sheba the son of Bichri by name, hath lifted up his hand against
the
king, [even] against David: deliver him only, and I will depart
from
the city. And the woman said unto Joab, Behold,
his {head} shall be thrown to thee over the wall.
head <2SA20 -22> Then the woman went unto all the people in her
wisdom. And they cut off the {head} of Sheba the son of Bichri,
and
cast [it] out to Joab. And he blew a trumpet, and they retired
from
the city, every man to his tent. And Joab returned to J
erusalem unto the king.
head <2SA22 -44> Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings
of
my people, thou hast kept me [to be] {head} of the heathen: a
people
[which] I knew not shall serve me.
head <1KI2 -6> Do therefore according to thy wisdom, and let not
his
hoar {head} go down to the grave in peace.
head <1KI2 -9> Now therefore hold him not guiltless: for thou
[art]
a wise man, and knowest what thou oughtest to do unto him; but
his
hoar {head} bring thou down to the grave with blood.
head <1KI2 -32> And the LORD shall return his blood upon his own
{head}, who fell upon two men more righteous and better than he,
and
slew them with the sword, my father David not knowing [thereof,
to
wit], Abner the son of Ner, captain of the host of Isr
ael, and Amasa the son of Jether, captain of the host of Judah.
head <1KI2 -33> Their blood shall therefore return upon the
{head}
of Joab, and upon the head of his seed for ever: but upon David,
and
upon his seed, and upon his house, and upon his throne, shall
there
be peace for ever from the LORD.
head <1KI2 -33> Their blood shall therefore return upon the head
of
Joab, and upon the {head} of his seed for ever: but upon David,
and
upon his seed, and upon his house, and upon his throne, shall
there
be peace for ever from the LORD.
head <1KI2 -37> For it shall be, [that] on the day thou goest
out,
and passest over the brook Kidron, thou shalt know for certain
that
thou shalt surely die: thy blood shall be upon thine own {head}.
head <1KI2 -44> The king said moreover to Shimei, Thou knowest
all
the wickedness which thine heart is privy to, that thou didst to
David my father: therefore the LORD shall return thy wickedness
upon
thine own {head};
head <1KI8 -32> Then hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy
servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his
{head};
and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his
righteousness.
head <1KI19 -6> And he looked, and, behold, [there was] a cake
baken
on the coals, and a cruse of water at his {head}. And he did eat
and
drink, and laid him down again.
head <2KI2 -3> And the sons of the prophets that [were] at Bethel
came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the
LORD
will take away thy master from thy {head} to day? And he said,
Yea,
I know [it]; hold ye your peace.
head <2KI2 -5> And the sons of the prophets that [were] at
Jericho
came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD
will
take away thy master from thy {head} to day? And he answered,
Yea, I
know [it]; hold ye your peace.
head <2KI2 -23> And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he
was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of
the
city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald {head};
go
up, thou bald head.
head <2KI2 -23> And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he
was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of
the
city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head;
go
up, thou bald {head}.
head <2KI4 -19> And he said unto his father, My {head}, my head.
And
he said to a lad, Carry him to his mother.
head <2KI4 -19> And he said unto his father, My head, my {head}.
And
he said to a lad, Carry him to his mother.
head <2KI6 -5> But as one was felling a beam, the ax {head} fell
into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was
borrowed.
head <2KI6 -25> And there was a great famine in Samaria: and,
behold, they besieged it, until an ass's {head} was [sold] for
fourscore [pieces] of silver, and the fourth part of a cab of
dove's
dung for five [pieces] of silver.
head <2KI6 -31> Then he said, God do so and more also to me, if
the
{head} of Elisha the son of Shaphat shall stand on him this day.
head <2KI6 -32> But Elisha sat in his house, and the elders sat
with
him; and [the king] sent a man from before him: but ere the
messenger came to him, he said to the elders, See ye how this
son of
a murderer hath sent to take away mine {head}? look, when
the messenger cometh, shut the door, and hold him fast at the
door:
[is] not the sound of his master's feet behind him?
head <2KI9 -3> Then take the box of oil, and pour [it] on his
{head}, and say, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king
over
Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.
head <2KI9 -6> And he arose, and went into the house; and he
poured
the oil on his {head}, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD
God of
Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of the LORD,
[even] over Israel.
head <2KI9 -30> And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard
[of
it]; and she painted her face, and tired her {head}, and looked
out
at a window.
head <2KI19 -21> This [is] the word that the LORD hath spoken
concerning him; The virgin the daughter of Zion hath despised
thee,
[and] laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath
shaken
her {head} at thee.
head <2KI25 -27> And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth
year
of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth
month,
on the seven and twentieth [day] of the month, [that]
Evilmerodach
king of Babylon in the year that he began to reign
did lift up the {head} of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of prison;
head <1CH10 -9> And when they had stripped him, they took his
{head}, and his armour, and sent into the land of the Philistines
round about, to carry tidings unto their idols, and to the
people.
head <1CH10 -10> And they put his armour in the house of their
gods,
and fastened his {head} in the temple of Dagon.
head <1CH20 -2> And David took the crown of their king from off
his
{head}, and found it to weigh a talent of gold, and [there were]
precious stones in it; and it was set upon David's head: and he
brought also exceeding much spoil out of the city.
head <1CH20 -2> And David took the crown of their king from off
his
head, and found it to weigh a talent of gold, and [there were]
precious stones in it; and it was set upon David's {head}: and he
brought also exceeding much spoil out of the city.
head <1CH29 -11> Thine, O LORD, [is] the greatness, and the
power,
and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all [that
is]
in the heaven and in the earth [is thine]; thine [is] the
kingdom, O
LORD, and thou art exalted as {head} above all.
head <2CH6 -23> Then hear thou from heaven, and do, and judge thy
servants, by requiting the wicked, by recompensing his way upon
his
own {head}; and by justifying the righteous, by giving him
according
to his righteousness.
head <2CH20 -18> And Jehoshaphat bowed his {head} with [his]
face to
the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell
before the LORD, worshipping the LORD.
head <EZR9 -3> And when I heard this thing, I rent my garment
and my
mantle, and plucked off the hair of my {head} and of my beard,
and
sat down astonied.
head <EZR9 -6> And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to
lift up
my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over
[our]
{head}, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens.
head <NEH4 -4> Hear, O our God; for we are despised: and turn
their
reproach upon their own {head}, and give them for a prey in the
land
of captivity:
head <EST2 -17> And the king loved Esther above all the women,
and
she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the
virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her {head}, and made
her queen instead of Vashti.
head <EST6 -8> Let the royal apparel be brought which the king
[useth] to wear, and the horse that the king rideth upon, and the
crown royal which is set upon his {head}:
head <EST6 -12> And Mordecai came again to the king's gate. But
Haman hasted to his house mourning, and having his {head}
covered.
head <EST9 -25> But when [Esther] came before the king, he
commanded
by letters that his wicked device, which he devised against the
Jews, should return upon his own {head}, and that he and his sons
should be hanged on the gallows.
head <JOB1 -20> Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved
his
{head}, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,
head <JOB10 -15> If I be wicked, woe unto me; and [if] I be
righteous, [yet] will I not lift up my {head}. [I am] full of
confusion; therefore see thou mine affliction;
head <JOB16 -4> I also could speak as ye [do]: if your soul were
in
my soul's stead, I could heap up words against you, and shake
mine
{head} at you.
head <JOB19 -9> He hath stripped me of my glory, and taken the
crown
[from] my {head}.
head <JOB20 -6> Though his excellency mount up to the heavens,
and
his {head} reach unto the clouds;
head <JOB29 -3> When his candle shined upon my {head}, [and
when] by
his light I walked [through] darkness;
head <JOB41 -7> Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or
his
{head} with fish spears?
head <PSA3 -3> But thou, O LORD, [art] a shield for me; my glory,
and the lifter up of mine {head}.
head <PSA7 -16> His mischief shall return upon his own {head},
and
his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.
head <PSA18 -43> Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the
people; [and] thou hast made me the {head} of the heathen: a
people
[whom] I have not known shall serve me.
head <PSA21 -3> For thou preventest him with the blessings of
goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his {head}.
head <PSA22 -7> All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they
shoot
out the lip, they shake the {head}, [saying],
head <PSA23 -5> Thou preparest a table before me in the presence
of
mine enemies: thou anointest my {head} with oil; my cup runneth
over.
head <PSA27 -6> And now shall mine {head} be lifted up above mine
enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle
sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the
LORD.
head <PSA38 -4> For mine iniquities are gone over mine {head}:
as an
heavy burden they are too heavy for me.
head <PSA40 -12> For innumerable evils have compassed me about:
mine
iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look
up; they are more than the hairs of mine {head}: therefore my
heart
faileth me.
head <PSA44 -14> Thou makest us a byword among the heathen, a
shaking of the {head} among the people.
head <PSA60 -7> Gilead [is] mine, and Manasseh [is] mine; Ephraim
also [is] the strength of mine {head}; Judah [is] my lawgiver;
head <PSA68 -21> But God shall wound the {head} of his enemies,
[and] the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his
trespasses.
head <PSA69 -4> They that hate me without a cause are more than
the
hairs of mine {head}: they that would destroy me, [being] mine
enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored [that] which I
took
not away.
head <PSA83 -2> For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they
that
hate thee have lifted up the {head}.
head <PSA108 -8> Gilead [is] mine; Manasseh [is] mine; Ephraim
also
[is] the strength of mine {head}; Judah [is] my lawgiver;
head <PSA110 -7> He shall drink of the brook in the way:
therefore
shall he lift up the {head}.
head <PSA118 -22> The stone [which] the builders refused is
become
the {head} [stone] of the corner.
head <PSA133 -2> It is] like the precious ointment upon the
{head},
that ran down upon the beard, [even] Aaron's beard: that went
down
to the skirts of his garments;
head <PSA140 -7> O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation,
thou
hast covered my {head} in the day of battle.
head <PSA140 -9> As for] the {head} of those that compass me
about,
let the mischief of their own lips cover them.
head <PSA141 -5> Let the righteous smite me; [it shall be] a
kindness: and let him reprove me; [it shall be] an excellent oil,
[which] shall not break my {head}: for yet my prayer also [shall
be]
in their calamities.
head <PRO1 -9> For they [shall be] an ornament of grace unto thy
{head}, and chains about thy neck.
head <PRO4 -9> She shall give to thine {head} an ornament of
grace:
a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.
head <PRO10 -6> Blessings [are] upon the {head} of the just: but
violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.
head <PRO11 -26> He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse
him: but blessing [shall be] upon the {head} of him that selleth
[it].
head <PRO16 -31> The hoary {head} [is] a crown of glory, [if] it
be
found in the way of righteousness.
head <PRO20 -29> The glory of young men [is] their strength: and
the
beauty of old men [is] the grey {head}.
head <PRO25 -22> For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his
{head},
and the LORD shall reward thee.
head <ECC2 -14> The wise man's eyes [are] in his {head}; but the
fool walketh in darkness: and I myself perceived also that one
event
happeneth to them all.
head <ECC9 -8> Let thy garments be always white; and let thy
{head}
lack no ointment.
head <SON2 -6> His left hand [is] under my {head}, and his right
hand doth embrace me.
head <SON5 -2> I sleep, but my heart waketh: [it is] the voice
of my
beloved that knocketh, [saying], Open to me, my sister, my love,
my
dove, my undefiled: for my {head} is filled with dew, [and] my
locks
with the drops of the night.
head <SON5 -11> His {head} [is as] the most fine gold, his locks
[are] bushy, [and] black as a raven.
head <SON7 -5> Thine head upon thee [is] like Carmel, and the
hair
of thine {head} like purple; the king [is] held in the galleries.
head <SON7 -5> Thine {head} upon thee [is] like Carmel, and the
hair
of thine head like purple; the king [is] held in the galleries.
head <SON8 -3> His left hand [should be] under my {head}, and his
right hand should embrace me.
head <ISA1 -5> Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt
more and more: the whole {head} is sick, and the whole heart
faint.
head <ISA1 -6> From the sole of the foot even unto the {head}
[there
is] no soundness in it; [but] wounds, and bruises, and putrifying
sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither
mollified with ointment.
head <ISA3 -17> Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the
crown
of the {head} of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will
discover
their secret parts.
head <ISA7 -8> For the head of Syria [is] Damascus, and the
{head}
of Damascus [is] Rezin; and within threescore and five years
shall
Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people.
head <ISA7 -8> For the {head} of Syria [is] Damascus, and the
head
of Damascus [is] Rezin; and within threescore and five years
shall
Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people.
head <ISA7 -9> And the head of Ephraim [is] Samaria, and the
{head}
of Samaria [is] Remaliah's son. If ye will not believe, surely ye
shall not be established.
head <ISA7 -9> And the {head} of Ephraim [is] Samaria, and the
head
of Samaria [is] Remaliah's son. If ye will not believe, surely ye
shall not be established.
head <ISA7 -20> In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor
that is hired, [namely], by them beyond the river, by the king of
Assyria, the {head}, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also
consume the beard.
head <ISA9 -14> Therefore the LORD will cut off from Israel
{head}
and tail, branch and rush, in one day.
head <ISA9 -15> The ancient and honourable, he [is] the {head};
and
the prophet that teacheth lies, he [is] the tail.
head <ISA19 -15> Neither shall there be [any] work for Egypt,
which
the {head} or tail, branch or rush, may do.
head <ISA28 -1> Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of
Ephraim, whose glorious beauty [is] a fading flower, which [are]
on
the {head} of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with
wine!
head <ISA28 -4> And the glorious beauty, which [is] on the
{head} of
the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, [and] as the hasty
fruit
before the summer; which [when] he that looketh upon it seeth,
while
it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.
head <ISA37 -22> This [is] the word which the LORD hath spoken
concerning him; The virgin, the daughter of Zion, hath despised
thee, [and] laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath
shaken her {head} at thee.
head <ISA51 -11> Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return,
and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy [shall be]
upon
their {head}: they shall obtain gladness and joy; [and] sorrow
and
mourning shall flee away.
head <ISA51 -20> Thy sons have fainted, they lie at the {head} of
all the streets, as a wild bull in a net: they are full of the
fury
of the LORD, the rebuke of thy God.
head <ISA58 -5> Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a
man to afflict his soul? [is it] to bow down his {head} as a
bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes [under him]? wilt thou
call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?
head <ISA59 -17> For he put on righteousness as a breastplate,
and
an helmet of salvation upon his {head}; and he put on the
garments
of vengeance [for] clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak.
head <JER2 -16> Also the children of Noph and Tahapanes have
broken
the crown of thy {head}.
head <JER2 -37> Yea, thou shalt go forth from him, and thine
hands
upon thine {head}: for the LORD hath rejected thy confidences,
and
thou shalt not prosper in them.
head <JER9 -1> Oh that my {head} were waters, and mine eyes a
fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain
of
the daughter of my people!
head <JER18 -16> To make their land desolate, [and] a perpetual
hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished, and
wag
his {head}.
head <JER22 -6> For thus saith the LORD unto the king's house of
Judah; Thou [art] Gilead unto me, [and] the {head} of Lebanon:
[yet]
surely I will make thee a wilderness, [and] cities [which] are
not
inhabited.
head <JER23 -19> Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in
fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon
the
{head} of the wicked.
head <JER30 -23> Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth
with
fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the
{head} of the wicked.
head <JER48 -37> For every {head} [shall be] bald, and every
beard
clipped: upon all the hands [shall be] cuttings, and upon the
loins
sackcloth.
head <JER48 -45> They that fled stood under the shadow of Heshbon
because of the force: but a fire shall come forth out of Heshbon,
and a flame from the midst of Sihon, and shall devour the corner
of
Moab, and the crown of the {head} of the tumultuous one
s.
head <JER52 -31> And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth
year
of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth
month,
in the five and twentieth [day] of the month, [that] Evilmerodach
king of Babylon in the [first] year of his reign lif
ted up the {head} of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him
forth
out of prison,
head <LAM2 -15> All that pass by clap [their] hands at thee; they
hiss and wag their {head} at the daughter of Jerusalem, [saying,
Is]
this the city that [men] call The perfection of beauty, The joy
of
the whole earth?
head <LAM3 -54> Waters flowed over mine {head}; [then] I said, I
am
cut off.
head <LAM5 -16> The crown is fallen [from] our {head}: woe unto
us,
that we have sinned!
head <EZE5 -1> And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife,
take
thee a barber's razor, and cause [it] to pass upon thine {head}
and
upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the
[hair].
head <EZE8 -3> And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me
by
a lock of mine {head}; and the spirit lifted me up between the
earth
and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to
Jerusalem,
to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward t
he north; where [was] the seat of the image of jealousy, which
provoketh to jealousy.
head <EZE9 -10> And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare,
neither will I have pity, [but] I will recompense their way upon
their {head}.
head <EZE10 -1> Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that
was above the {head} of the cherubims there appeared over them
as it
were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a
throne.
head <EZE10 -11> When they went, they went upon their four sides;
they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the {head}
looked they followed it; they turned not as they went.
head <EZE13 -18> And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the
[women] that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon
the {head} of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the
souls of
my people, and will ye save the souls alive [that come] un
to you?
head <EZE16 -12> And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings
in
thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine {head}.
head <EZE16 -25> Thou hast built thy high place at every {head}
of
the way, and hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened
thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy
whoredoms.
head <EZE16 -31> In that thou buildest thine eminent place in the
{head} of every way, and makest thine high place in every street;
and hast not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire;
head <EZE16 -43> Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy
youth, but hast fretted me in all these [things]; behold,
therefore
I also will recompense thy way upon [thine] {head}, saith the
Lord
GOD: and thou shalt not commit this lewdness above all
thine abominations.
head <EZE17 -19> Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; [As] I live,
surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he
hath
broken, even it will I recompense upon his own {head}.
head <EZE21 -19> Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways,
that
the sword of the king of Babylon may come: both twain shall come
forth out of one land: and choose thou a place, choose [it] at
the
{head} of the way to the city.
head <EZE21 -21> For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of
the
way, at the {head} of the two ways, to use divination: he made

them] with the hairs of her {head}.
head <LUK7 -46> My {head} with oil thou didst not anoint: but
this

head <LUK9 -58> And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and
birds
of the air have] nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay
his] {head}.

head <1CO11 -5> But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with
her] head uncovered dishonoureth her {head}: for that is even all
one as if she were shaven.
