So when David had {put} the battle in array against the Syrians, they fought with him. put <1CH19 -19> And when the servants of Hadarezer saw that they were {put} to the worse before Israel, they made peace with David, and became his servants: neither would the Syrians help the children of Ammon any more. put <1CH21 -27> And the LORD commanded the angel; and he {put} up his sword again into the sheath thereof. put <1CH27 -24> Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because there fell wrath for it against Israel; neither was the number {put} in the account of the chronicles of king David. put <2CH1 -5> Moreover the brazen altar, that Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made, he {put} before the tabernacle of the LORD: and Solomon and the congregation sought unto it. put <2CH2 -14> The son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father [was] a man of Tyre, skilful to work in gold, and in silver, in brass, in iron, in stone, and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen, and in crimson; also to grave any man ner of graving, and to find out every device which shall be {put} to him, with thy cunning men, and with the cunning men of my lord David thy father. put <2CH3 -16> And he made chains, [as] in the oracle, and put [them] on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and {put} [them] on the chains. put <2CH3 -16> And he made chains, [as] in the oracle, and {put} [them] on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put [them] on the chains. put <2CH4 -6> He made also ten lavers, and {put} five on the right hand, and five on the left, to wash in them: such things as they offered for the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea [was] for the priests to wash in. put <2CH5 -1> Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the LORD was finished: and Solomon brought in [all] the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, {put} he among the treasures of t he house of God. put <2CH5 -10> There was] nothing in the ark save the two tables which Moses {put} [therein] at Horeb, when the LORD made [a covenant] with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt. put <2CH6 -11> And in it have I {put} the ark, wherein [is] the covenant of the LORD, that he made with the children of Israel. put <2CH6 -20> That thine eyes may be open upon this house day and night, upon the place whereof thou hast said that thou wouldest {put} thy name there; to hearken unto the prayer which thy servant prayeth toward this place. put <2CH6 -24> And if thy people Israel be {put} to the worse before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee; and shall return and confess thy name, and pray and make supplication before thee in this house; put <2CH9 -16> And three hundred shields [made he of] beaten gold: three hundred [shekels] of gold went to one shield. And the king {put} them in the house of the forest of Lebanon. put <2CH9 -23> And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, that God had {put} in his heart. put <2CH10 -4> Thy father made our yoke grievous: now therefore ease thou somewhat the grievous servitude of thy father, and his heavy yoke that he {put} upon us, and we will serve thee. put <2CH10 -9> And he said unto them, What advice give ye that we may return answer to this people, which have spoken to me, saying, Ease somewhat the yoke that thy father did {put} upon us? put <2CH10 -11> For whereas my father put a heavy yoke upon you, I will {put} more to your yoke: my father chastised you with whips, but I [will chastise you] with scorpions. put <2CH10 -11> For whereas my father {put} a heavy yoke upon you, I will put more to your yoke: my father chastised you with whips, but I [will chastise you] with scorpions. put <2CH11 -11> And he fortified the strong holds, and {put} captains in them, and store of victual, and of oil and wine. put <2CH11 -12> And in every several city [he {put}] shields and spears, and made them exceeding strong, having Judah and Benjamin on his side. put <2CH12 -13> So king Rehoboam strengthened himself in Jerusalem, and reigned: for Rehoboam [was] one and forty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which the LORD had chosen out of all the tribes of Is rael, to {put} his name there. And his mother's name [was] Naamah an Ammonitess. put <2CH15 -8> And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and {put} away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed t he altar of the LORD, that [was] before the porch of the LORD. put <2CH15 -13> That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be {put} to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. put <2CH16 -10> Then Asa was wroth with the seer, and {put} him in a prison house; for [he was] in a rage with him because of this [thing]. And Asa oppressed [some] of the people the same time. put <2CH17 -19> These waited on the king, beside [those] whom the king {put} in the fenced cities throughout all Judah. put <2CH18 -22> Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath {put} a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil against thee. put <2CH18 -26> And say, Thus saith the king, {Put} this [fellow] in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I return in peace. put <2CH18 -29> And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and will go to the battle; but {put} thou on thy robes. So the king of Israel disguised himself; and they went to the battle. put <2CH22 -11> But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons that were slain, and {put} him and his nurse in a bedchamber. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Je hoiada the priest, (for she was the sister of Ahaziah,) hid him from Athaliah, so that she slew him not. put <2CH23 -7> And the Levites shall compass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand; and whosoever [else] cometh into the house, he shall be {put} to death: but be ye with the king when he cometh in, and when he goeth out. put <2CH23 -11> Then they brought out the king's son, and {put} upon him the crown, and [gave him] the testimony, and made him king. And Jehoiada and his sons anointed him, and said, God save the king. put <2CH25 -22> And Judah was {put} to the worse before Israel, and they fled every man to his tent. put <2CH29 -7> Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and {put} out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy [place] unto the God of Israel. put <2CH33 -7> And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I {put} my name fo r ever: put <2CH33 -14> Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and {put} captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah. put <2CH34 -10> And they {put} [it] in the hand of the workmen that had the oversight of the house of the LORD, and they gave it to the workmen that wrought in the house of the LORD, to repair and amend the house: put <2CH35 -3> And said unto the Levites that taught all Israel, which were holy unto the LORD, {Put} the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build; [it shall] not [be] a burden upon [your] shoulders: serve now the LORD your God, and his people Israel, put <2CH35 -24> His servants therefore took him out of that chariot, and {put} him in the second chariot that he had; and they brought him to Jerusalem, and he died, and was buried in [one of] the sepulchres of his fathers. And all Judah and Jerusalem mou rned for Josiah. put <2CH36 -3> And the king of Egypt {put} him down at Jerusalem, and condemned the land in an hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold. put <2CH36 -7> Nebuchadnezzar also carried of the vessels of the house of the LORD to Babylon, and {put} them in his temple at Babylon. put <2CH36 -22> Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD [spoken] by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdo m, and [{put} it] also in writing, saying, put Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and [{put} it] also in writing, saying, put Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had {put} them in the house of his gods; put These sought their register [among] those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found: therefore were they, as polluted, {put} from the priesthood. put And the God that hath caused his name to dwell there destroy all kings and people, that shall {put} to their hand to alter [and] to destroy this house of God which [is] at Jerusalem. I Darius have made a decree; let it be done with speed. put Blessed [be] the LORD God of our fathers, which hath {put} [such a thing] as this in the king's heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which [is] in Jerusalem: put Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to {put} away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the l aw. put And they gave their hands that they would {put} away their wives; and [being] guilty, [they offered] a ram of the flock for their trespass. put And I arose in the night, I and some few men with me; neither told I [any] man what my God had {put} in my heart to do at Jerusalem: neither [was there any] beast with me, save the beast that I rode upon. put And next unto them the Tekoites repaired; but their nobles {put} not their necks to the work of their Lord. put So neither I, nor my brethren, nor my servants, nor the men of the guard which followed me, none of us put off our clothes, [saving that] every one {put} them off for washing. put So neither I, nor my brethren, nor my servants, nor the men of the guard which followed me, none of us {put} off our clothes, [saving that] every one put them off for washing. put My God, think thou upon Tobiah and Sanballat according to these their works, and on the prophetess Noadiah, and the rest of the prophets, that would have {put} me in fear. put Also they reported his good deeds before me, and uttered my words to him. [And] Tobiah sent letters to {put} me in fear. put And my God {put} into mine heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. And I found a register of the genealogy of them which came up at the first, and found written therein, put These sought their register [among] those that were reckoned by genealogy, but it was not found: therefore were they, as polluted, {put} from the priesthood. put When Mordecai perceived all that was done, Mordecai rent his clothes, and {put} on sackcloth with ashes, and went out into the midst of the city, and cried with a loud and a bitter cry; put All the king's servants, and the people of the king's provinces, do know, that whosoever, whether man or woman, shall come unto the king into the inner court, who is not called, [there is] one law of his to {put} [him] to death, except such to whom the king shall hold out the golden sceptre, that he may live: but I have not been called to come in unto the king these thirty days. put Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther {put} on [her] royal [apparel], and stood in the inner court of the king's house, over against the king's house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the ga te of the house. put And Esther spake yet again before the king, and fell down at his feet, and besought him with tears to {put} away the mischief of Haman the Agagite, and his device that he had devised against the Jews. put Now in the twelfth month, that [is], the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the king's commandment and his decree drew near to be {put} in execution, in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, (th ough it was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated them;) put But {put} forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face. put And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath [is] in thy power; only upon himself {put} not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD. put But {put} forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face. put Behold, he {put} no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly: put If iniquity [be] in thine hand, {put} it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles. put Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and {put} my life in mine hand? put Lay down now, {put} me in a surety with thee; who [is] he [that] will strike hands with me? put Yea, the light of the wicked shall be {put} out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine. put The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be {put} out with him. put He hath {put} my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily estranged from me. put How oft is the candle of the wicked {put} out! and [how oft] cometh their destruction upon them! [God] distributeth sorrows in his anger. put If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt {put} away iniquity far from thy tabernacles. put Will he plead against me with [his] great power? No; but he would {put} [strength] in me. put He may prepare [it], but the just shall {put} [it] on, and the innocent shall divide the silver. put I {put} on righteousness, and it clothed me: my judgment [was] as a robe and a diadem. put Who hath {put} wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart? put Canst thou {put} an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn? put Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish [from] the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed [are] all they that {put} their trust in him. put Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and {put} your trust in the LORD. put Thou hast {put} gladness in my heart, more than in the time [that] their corn and their wine increased. put But let all those that {put} their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. put Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto the LORD, concerning the words of Cush the Benjamite. O LORD my God, in thee do I {put} my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me: put Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast {put} all [things] under his feet: put Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast {put} out their name for ever and ever. put And they that know thy name will {put} their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. put {Put} them in fear, O LORD: [that] the nations may know themselves [to be but] men. Selah. put To the chief Musician, [A Psalm] of David. In the LORD {put} I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee [as] a bird to your mountain? put Michtam of David. Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I {put} my trust. put Show thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which {put} their trust [in thee] from those that rise up [against them]. put For all his judgments [were] before me, and I did not {put} away his statutes from me. put O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I {put} my trust in thee. put Hide not thy face [far] from me; {put} not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation. put Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast {put} off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; put To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. In thee, O LORD, do I {put} my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness. put Let the lying lips be {put} to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous. put Let them be confounded and {put} to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt. put How excellent [is] thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men {put} their trust under the shadow of thy wings. put And he hath {put} a new song in my mouth, [even] praise unto our God: many shall see [it], and fear, and shall trust in the LORD. put Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and {put} to shame that wish me evil. put But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast {put} them to shame that hated us. put But thou hast cast off, and {put} us to shame; and goest not forth with our armies. put There were they in great fear, [where] no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth [against] thee: thou hast {put} [them] to shame, because God hath despised them. put He hath {put} forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant. put In God I will praise his word, in God I have {put} my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. put Thou tellest my wanderings: {put} thou my tears into thy bottle: [are they] not in thy book? put In God have I {put} my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me. put Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and {put} to confusion, that desire my hurt. put In thee, O LORD, do I {put} my trust: let me never be put to confusion. put In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be {put} to confusion. put But [it is] good for me to draw near to God: I have {put} my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works. put And he smote his enemies in the hinder parts: he {put} them to a perpetual reproach. put Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be {put} to shame, and perish: put Thou hast {put} away mine acquaintance far from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto them: [I am] shut up, and I cannot come forth. put Lover and friend hast thou {put} far from me, [and] mine acquaintance into darkness. put It is] better to trust in the LORD than to {put} confidence in man. put It is] better to trust in the LORD than to {put} confidence in princes. put I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O LORD, {put} me not to shame. put For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous {put} forth their hands unto iniquity. put {Put} not your trust in princes, [nor] in the son of man, in whom [there is] no help. put Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips {put} far from thee. put {Put} away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. put Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding {put} forth her voice? put The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be {put} out. put Whoso curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be {put} out in obscure darkness. put And {put} a knife to thy throat, if thou [be] a man given to appetite. put For there shall be no reward to the evil [man]; the candle of the wicked shall be {put} out. put {Put} not forth thyself in the presence of the king, and stand not in the place of great [men]: put For better [it is] that it be said unto thee, Come up hither; than that thou shouldest be {put} lower in the presence of the prince whom thine eyes have seen. put Go not forth hastily to strive, lest [thou know not] what to do in the end thereof, when thy neighbour hath {put} thee to shame. put Lest he that heareth [it] {put} thee to shame, and thine infamy turn not away. put Every word of God [is] pure: he [is] a shield unto them that {put} their trust in him. put I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be {put} to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth [it], that [men] should fear before him. put If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he {put} to more strength: but wisdom [is] profitable to direct. put Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and {put} away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth [are] vanity. put I have {put} off my coat; how shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them? put I have put off my coat; how shall I {put} it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them? put My beloved {put} in his hand by the hole [of the door], and my bowels were moved for him. put Wash you, make you clean; {put} away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; put Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that {put} bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! put Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that {put} darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! put For he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done [it], and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have {put} down the inhabitants like a valiant [man]: put And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall {put} his hand on the cockatrice' den. put At the same time spake the LORD by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and {put} off thy shoe from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot. put How then wilt thou turn away the face of one captain of the least of my master's servants, and {put} thy trust on Egypt for chariots and for horsemen? put Because thy rage against me, and thy tumult, is come up into mine ears, therefore will I {put} my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest. put Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, [in whom] my soul delighteth; I have {put} my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. put {Put} me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified. put Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to {put} it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, [which] thou shalt not know. put Thus saith the LORD, Where [is] the bill of your mother's divorcement, whom I have {put} away? or which of my creditors [is it] to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is you r mother put away. put Thus saith the LORD, Where [is] the bill of your mother's divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors [is it] to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother {put} away. put Awake, awake, {put} on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. [Art] thou not it that hath cut Rahab, [and] wounded the dragon? put And I have {put} my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou [art] my people. put But I will {put} it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over. put Awake, awake; {put} on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. put Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; {put} on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. put Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath {put} [him] to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong [his] days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. put Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be {put} to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. put For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he {put} on the garments of vengeance [for] clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak. put For he {put} on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance [for] clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak. put As for me, this [is] my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that [is] upon thee, and my words which I have {put} in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed' s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever. put Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, [and] his people, [saying], Where [is] he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where [is] he that {put} his holy Spirit within him? put Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have {put} my words in thy mouth. put Then the LORD {put} forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. put They say, If a man {put} away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith t he LORD. put And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had {put} her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also. put But I said, How shall I {put} thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me. put If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD, return unto me: and if thou wilt {put} away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove. put Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; {Put} your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh. put Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the defenced cities, and let us be silent there: for the LORD our God hath {put} us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD. put They have sown wheat, but shall reap thorns: they have {put} themselves to pain, [but] shall not profit: and they shall be ashamed of your revenues because of the fierce anger of the LORD. put Thus saith the LORD unto me, Go and get thee a linen girdle, and put it upon thy loins, and {put} it not in water. put Thus saith the LORD unto me, Go and get thee a linen girdle, and {put} it upon thy loins, and put it not in water. put So I got a girdle according to the word of the LORD, and {put} [it] on my loins. put Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their [blood] by the force of the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of their children, and [be] widows; and let their men be {put} to death; [let] their young men [be] sl ain by the sword in battle. put Then Pashur smote Jeremiah the prophet, and {put} him in the stocks that [were] in the high gate of Benjamin, which [was] by the house of the LORD. put But know ye for certain, that if ye {put} me to death, ye shall surely bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth the LORD hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in yo ur ears. put Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah {put} him at all to death? did he not fear the LORD, and besought the LORD, and the LORD repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus might we procure great evil against our s ouls. put And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to {put} him to death: but when Urijah heard it, he was afraid, and fled, and went into Egypt; put Nevertheless the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, that they should not give him into the hand of the people to {put} him to death. put Thus saith the LORD to me; Make thee bonds and yokes, and {put} them upon thy neck, put And it shall come to pass, [that] the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not {put} their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, saith the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand. put For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have {put} a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also. put The LORD hath made thee priest in the stead of Jehoiada the priest, that ye should be officers in the house of the LORD, for every man [that is] mad, and maketh himself a prophet, that thou shouldest {put} him in prison, and in the stocks. put But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will {put} my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. put Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open; and {put} them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days. put And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will {put} my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me. put Now Jeremiah came in and went out among the people: for they had not {put} him into prison. put Wherefore the princes were wroth with Jeremiah, and smote him, and {put} him in prison in the house of Jonathan the scribe: for they had made that the prison. put Moreover Jeremiah said unto king Zedekiah, What have I offended against thee, or against thy servants, or against this people, that ye have {put} me in prison? put Therefore the princes said unto the king, We beseech thee, let this man be {put} to death: for thus he weakeneth the hands of the men of war that remain in this city, and the hands of all the people, in speaking such words unto them: for th is man seeketh not the welfare of this people, but the hurt. put Now when Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, one of the eunuchs which was in the king's house, heard that they had {put} Jeremiah in the dungeon; the king then sitting in the gate of Benjamin; put And Ebedmelech the Ethiopian said unto Jeremiah, {Put} now [these] old cast clouts and rotten rags under thine armholes under the cords. And Jeremiah did so. put Then Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I declare [it] unto thee, wilt thou not surely {put} me to death? and if I give thee counsel, wilt thou not hearken unto me? put So Zedekiah the king sware secretly unto Jeremiah, saying, [As] the LORD liveth, that made us this soul, I will not {put} thee to death, neither will I give thee into the hand of these men that seek thy life. put But if the princes hear that I have talked with thee, and they come unto thee, and say unto thee, Declare unto us now what thou hast said unto the king, hide it not from us, and we will not {put} thee to death; also what the king said unto thee: put Moreover he {put} out Zedekiah's eyes, and bound him with chains, to carry him to Babylon. put For I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life shall be for a prey unto thee: because thou hast {put} thy trust in me, saith the LORD. put As for me, behold, I will dwell at Mizpah, to serve the Chaldeans, which will come unto us: but ye, gather ye wine, and summer fruits, and oil, and {put} [them] in your vessels, and dwell in your cities that ye have taken. put But Baruch the son of Neriah setteth thee on against us, for to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they might {put} us to death, and carry us away captives into Babylon. put Harness the horses; and get up, ye horsemen, and stand forth with [your] helmets; furbish the spears, [and] {put} on the brigandines. put O thou sword of the LORD, how long [will it be] ere thou be quiet? {put} up thyself into thy scabbard, rest, and be still. put {Put} yourselves in array against Babylon round about: all ye that bend the bow, shoot at her, spare no arrows: for she hath sinned against the LORD. put They shall hold the bow and the lance: they [are] cruel, and will not show mercy: their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, [every one] {put} in array, like a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Babyl on. put Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and {put} him in prison till the day of his death. put Then he {put} out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death. put And the king of Babylon smote them, and {put} them to death in Riblah in the land of Hamath. Thus Judah was carried away captive out of his own land. put But thou, O son of man, behold, they shall {put} bands upon thee, and shall bind thee with them, and thou shalt not go out among them: put Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and {put} them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, [according] to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred a nd ninety days shalt thou eat thereof. put And he {put} forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward th e north; where [was] the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy. put Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen [this], O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to a nger: and, lo, they {put} the branch to their nose. put And [one] cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubims unto the fire that [was] between the cherubims, and took [thereof], and {put} [it] into the hands of [him that was] clothed with linen: who took [it], and went out. put And I will give them one heart, and I will {put} a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: put Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and {put} the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be inquired of at all by them? put I decked thee also with ornaments, and I {put} bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck. put And I {put} a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head. put And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it [was] perfect through my comeliness, which I had {put} upon thee, saith the Lord GOD. put Son of man, {put} forth a riddle, and speak a parable unto the house of Israel; put And they {put} him in ward in chains, and brought him to the king of Babylon: they brought him into holds, that his voice should no more be heard upon the mountains of Israel. put Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have {put} no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they showed [difference] between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabb aths, and I am profaned among them. put And a voice of a multitude being at ease [was] with her: and with the men of the common sort [were] brought Sabeans from the wilderness, which {put} bracelets upon their hands, and beautiful crowns upon their heads. put Forbear to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the tire of thine head upon thee, and {put} on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover not [thy] lips, and eat not the bread of men. put Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay away their robes, and {put} off their broidered garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground, and shall tremble at [every] moment, and be astonished at thee. put But I will {put} hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales. put Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause [their] images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will {put} a fear in the land of Egypt. put Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to {put} a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword. put And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and {put} my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh's arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded [man]. put But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I shall {put} my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon th e land of Egypt. put And when I shall {put} thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light. put They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude: her graves [are] round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword: though their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit: he is {put} in the midst of [them that be] slain. put A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I {put} within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. put And I will {put} my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do [them]. put And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and {put} breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD. put And shall {put} my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken [it], and performed [it], saith the LORD. put Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which [is] in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will {put} them with him, [even] with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick , and they shall be one in mine hand. put And I will turn thee back, and {put} hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts [of armour, even] a great company [with] bucklers and shields, all of them ha ndling swords: put When the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy [place] into the utter court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they [are] holy; and shall {put} on other garments, and shall approach to [those things] which [are] for the people. put Now let them {put} away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever. put And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and {put} [it] on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it. put And when they go forth into the utter court, [even] into the utter court to the people, they shall put off their garments wherein they ministered, and lay them in the holy chambers, and they shall {put} on other garments; and they shall no t sanctify the people with their garments. put And when they go forth into the utter court, [even] into the utter court to the people, they shall {put} off their garments wherein they ministered, and lay them in the holy chambers, and they shall put on other garments; and they shall no t sanctify the people with their garments. put Neither shall they take for their wives a widow, nor her that is {put} away: but they shall take maidens of the seed of the house of Israel, or a widow that had a priest before. put And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering, and {put} [it] upon the posts of the house, and upon the four corners of the settle of the altar, and upon the posts of the gate of the inner court. put And for the majesty that he gave him, all people, nations, and languages, trembled and feared before him: whom he would he slew; and whom he would he kept alive; and whom he would he set up; and whom he would he {put} down. put Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and [{put}] a chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom. put Plead with your mother, plead: for she [is] not my wife, neither [am] I her husband: let her therefore {put} away her whoredoms out of her sight, and her adulteries from between her breasts; put {Put} ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness [is] great. put Ye that {put} far away the evil day, and cause the seat of violence to come near; put So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and {put} on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. put I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will {put} them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of [the multitude of ] men. put Trust ye not in a friend, {put} ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. put Ethiopia and Egypt [were] her strength, and [it was] infinite; {Put} and Lubim were thy helpers. put Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been {put} to shame. put Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages [to {put} it] into a bag with holes. put Then Joseph her husband, being a just [man], and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to {put} her away privily. put Neither do men light a candle, and {put} it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. put It hath been said, Whosoever shall {put} away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: put But I say unto you, That whosoever shall {put} away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. put Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall {put} on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? put And Jesus {put} forth [his] hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. put No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is {put} in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse. put Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they {put} new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved. put Neither do men {put} new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved. put But when the people were {put} forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose. put And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against [their] parents, and cause them to be {put} to death. put Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will {put} my spirit upon him, and he shall show judgment to the Gentiles. put Another parable {put} he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: put Another parable {put} he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: put For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and {put} [him] in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife. put And when he would have {put} him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet. put The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to {put} away his wife for every cause? put Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man {put} asunder. put They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to {put} her away? put He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to {put} away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. put And I say unto you, Whosoever shall {put} away his wife, except [it be] for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery. put And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except [it be] for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is {put} away doth commit adultery. put Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should {put} [his] hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. put And brought the ass, and the colt, and {put} on them their clothes, and they set [him] thereon. put But when the Pharisees had heard that he had {put} the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. put Thou oughtest therefore to have {put} my money to the exchangers, and [then] at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. put Then said Jesus unto him, {Put} up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. put Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to {put} him to death; put When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to {put} him to death: put And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to {put} them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood. put And they stripped him, and {put} on him a scarlet robe. put And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they {put} [it] upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews! put And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and {put} his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify [him]. put And straightway one of them ran, and took a sponge, and filled [it] with vinegar, and {put} [it] on a reed, and gave him to drink. put Now after that John was {put} in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, put And Jesus, moved with compassion, {put} forth his] hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean. put And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be {put} into new bottles. put And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be {put} under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick? put And they laughed him to scorn. Therefore {put} away from among yourselves that wicked person. put <1CO7 -11> But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her] husband: and let not the husband {put} away his] wife. put <1CO7 -12> But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not {put} her away. put <1CO13 -11> When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I {put} away childish things. put <1CO15 -24> Then cometh] the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have {put} down all rule and all authority and power. put <1CO15 -25> For he must reign, till he hath {put} all enemies under his feet. put <1CO15 -27> For he hath {put} all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is] manifest that he is excepted, which did {put} all things under him. put <1CO15 -27> For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are {put} under him, it is] manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. put <1CO15 -28> And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that {put} all things under him, that God may be all in all. put <1CO15 -53> For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must] {put} on immortality. put <1CO15 -53> For this corruptible must {put} on incorruption, and this mortal must] put on immortality. put <1CO15 -54> So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have {put} on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. put <1CO15 -54> So when this corruptible shall have {put} on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. put <2CO3 -13> And not as Moses, which] {put} a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: put <2CO8 -16> But thanks be] to God, which {put} the same earnest care into the heart of Titus for you. put For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have {put} on Christ. put And hath {put} all things] under his feet, and gave him to be] the head over all things] to the church, put That ye {put} off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; put And that ye {put} on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. put Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be {put} away from you, with all malice: put {Put} on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. put But now ye also {put} off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. put Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have {put} off the old man with his deeds; put And have {put} on the new man], which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: put {Put} on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; put And above all these things {put} on] charity, which is the bond of perfectness. put <1TH2 -4> But as we were allowed of God to be {put} in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts. put <1TI1 -19> Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having {put} away concerning faith have made shipwreck: put <1TI4 -6> If thou {put} the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. put <2TI1 -6> Wherefore I {put} thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. put <2TI2 -14> Of these things {put} them] in remembrance, charging them] before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but] to the subverting of the hearers. put {Put} them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, put If he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee] ought, {put} that on mine account; put For unto the angels hath he not {put} in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. put Thou hast {put} all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is] not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. put Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is] not {put} under him.
