and the {priests}, which minister unto the LORD, [are] the sons of Aaron, and the Levites [wait] upon [their] business: priests <2CH13 -12> And, behold, God himself [is] with us for [our] captain, and his {priests} with sounding trumpets to cry alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight ye not against the LORD God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper. priests <2CH13 -14> And when Judah looked back, behold, the battle [was] before and behind: and they cried unto the LORD, and the {priests} sounded with the trumpets. priests <2CH17 -8> And with them [he sent] Levites, [even] Shemaiah, and Nethaniah, and Zebadiah, and Asahel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehonathan, and Adonijah, and Tobijah, and Tobadonijah, Levites; and with them Elishama and Jehoram, {priests}. priests <2CH19 -8> Moreover in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of the Levites, and [of] the {priests}, and of the chief of the fathers of Israel, for the judgment of the LORD, and for controversies, when they returned to Jerusalem. priests <2CH23 -4> This [is] the thing that ye shall do; A third part of you entering on the sabbath, of the {priests} and of the Levites, [shall be] porters of the doors; priests <2CH23 -6> But let none come into the house of the LORD, save the {priests}, and they that minister of the Levites; they shall go in, for they [are] holy: but all the people shall keep the watch of the LORD. priests <2CH23 -18> Also Jehoiada appointed the offices of the house of the LORD by the hand of the {priests} the Levites, whom David had distributed in the house of the LORD, to offer the burnt offerings of the LORD, as [it is] written in the law of Mose s, with rejoicing and with singing, [as it was ordained] by David. priests <2CH24 -5> And he gathered together the {priests} and the Levites, and said to them, Go out unto the cities of Judah, and gather of all Israel money to repair the house of your God from year to year, and see that ye hasten the matter. Howbeit the Levites hastened [it] not. priests <2CH26 -17> And Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him fourscore {priests} of the LORD, [that were] valiant men: priests <2CH26 -18> And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, [It appertaineth] not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto the LORD, but to the {priests} the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for t hou hast trespassed; neither [shall it be] for thine honour from the LORD God. priests <2CH26 -19> Then Uzziah was wroth, and [had] a censer in his hand to burn incense: and while he was wroth with the {priests}, the leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the priests in the house of the LORD, from beside the incense altar. priests <2CH26 -19> Then Uzziah was wroth, and [had] a censer in his hand to burn incense: and while he was wroth with the priests, the leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the {priests} in the house of the LORD, from beside the incense altar. priests <2CH26 -20> And Azariah the chief priest, and all the {priests}, looked upon him, and, behold, he [was] leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out from thence; yea, himself hasted also to go out, because the LORD had smitten him. priests <2CH29 -4> And he brought in the {priests} and the Levites, and gathered them together into the east street, priests <2CH29 -16> And the {priests} went into the inner part of the house of the LORD, to cleanse [it], and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of the LORD into the court of the house of the LORD. And the Levites took [it], to carry [it] out abroad into the brook Kidron. priests <2CH29 -21> And they brought seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven he goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, and for the sanctuary, and for Judah. And he commanded the {priests} the sons of Aaron to offer [them] on the alt ar of the LORD. priests <2CH29 -22> So they killed the bullocks, and the {priests} received the blood, and sprinkled [it] on the altar: likewise, when they had killed the rams, they sprinkled the blood upon the altar: they killed also the lambs, and they sprinkled the bl ood upon the altar. priests <2CH29 -24> And the {priests} killed them, and they made reconciliation with their blood upon the altar, to make an atonement for all Israel: for the king commanded [that] the burnt offering and the sin offering [should be made] for all Israel. priests <2CH29 -26> And the Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the {priests} with the trumpets. priests <2CH29 -34> But the {priests} were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the [other] priests had sanctified themselves: for the Levites [were] more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests. priests <2CH29 -34> But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the [other] priests had sanctified themselves: for the Levites [w ere] more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the {priests}. priests <2CH29 -34> But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the [other] {priests} had sanctified themselves: for the Levites [were] more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests. priests <2CH30 -3> For they could not keep it at that time, because the {priests} had not sanctified themselves sufficiently, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem. priests <2CH30 -15> Then they killed the passover on the fourteenth [day] of the second month: and the {priests} and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought in the burnt offerings into the house of the LORD. priests <2CH30 -16> And they stood in their place after their manner, according to the law of Moses the man of God: the {priests} sprinkled the blood, [which they received] of the hand of the Levites. priests <2CH30 -21> And the children of Israel that were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness: and the Levites and the {priests} praised the LORD day by day, [singing] with loud instruments unto the LORD. priests <2CH30 -24> For Hezekiah king of Judah did give to the congregation a thousand bullocks and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the congregation a thousand bullocks and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of {priests} sanctified thems elves. priests <2CH30 -25> And all the congregation of Judah, with the {priests} and the Levites, and all the congregation that came out of Israel, and the strangers that came out of the land of Israel, and that dwelt in Judah, rejoiced. priests <2CH30 -27> Then the {priests} the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came [up] to his holy dwelling place, [even] unto heaven. priests <2CH31 -2> And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their courses, every man according to his service, the {priests} and Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to pr aise in the gates of the tents of the LORD. priests <2CH31 -2> And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the {priests} and the Levites after their courses, every man according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to pr aise in the gates of the tents of the LORD. priests <2CH31 -4> Moreover he commanded the people that dwelt in Jerusalem to give the portion of the {priests} and the Levites, that they might be encouraged in the law of the LORD. priests <2CH31 -9> Then Hezekiah questioned with the {priests} and the Levites concerning the heaps. priests <2CH31 -15> And next him [were] Eden, and Miniamin, and Jeshua, and Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah, in the cities of the {priests}, in [their] set office, to give to their brethren by courses, as well to the great as to the small: priests <2CH31 -17> Both to the genealogy of the {priests} by the house of their fathers, and the Levites from twenty years old and upward, in their charges by their courses; priests <2CH31 -19> Also of the sons of Aaron the {priests}, [which were] in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, in every several city, the men that were expressed by name, to give portions to all the males among the priests, and to all that were r eckoned by genealogies among the Levites. priests <2CH31 -19> Also of the sons of Aaron the priests, [which were] in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, in every several city, the men that were expressed by name, to give portions to all the males among the {priests}, and to all that were r eckoned by genealogies among the Levites. priests <2CH34 -5> And he burnt the bones of the {priests} upon their altars, and cleansed Judah and Jerusalem. priests <2CH34 -30> And the king went up into the house of the LORD, and all the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the {priests}, and the Levites, and all the people, great and small: and he read in their ears all the words of the book o f the covenant that was found in the house of the LORD. priests <2CH35 -2> And he set the {priests} in their charges, and encouraged them to the service of the house of the LORD, priests <2CH35 -8> And his princes gave willingly unto the people, to the priests, and to the Levites: Hilkiah and Zechariah and Jehiel, rulers of the house of God, gave unto the {priests} for the passover offerings two thousand and six hundred [small cat tle], and three hundred oxen. priests <2CH35 -8> And his princes gave willingly unto the people, to the {priests}, and to the Levites: Hilkiah and Zechariah and Jehiel, rulers of the house of God, gave unto the priests for the passover offerings two thousand and six hundred [small cat tle], and three hundred oxen. priests <2CH35 -10> So the service was prepared, and the {priests} stood in their place, and the Levites in their courses, according to the king's commandment. priests <2CH35 -11> And they killed the passover, and the {priests} sprinkled [the blood] from their hands, and the Levites flayed [them]. priests <2CH35 -14> And afterward they made ready for themselves, and for the priests: because the {priests} the sons of Aaron [were busied] in offering of burnt offerings and the fat until night; therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the priests the sons of Aaron. priests <2CH35 -14> And afterward they made ready for themselves, and for the {priests}: because the priests the sons of Aaron [were busied] in offering of burnt offerings and the fat until night; therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the priests the sons of Aaron. priests <2CH35 -14> And afterward they made ready for themselves, and for the priests: because the priests the sons of Aaron [were busied] in offering of burnt offerings and the fat until night; therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the { priests} the sons of Aaron. priests <2CH35 -18> And there was no passover like to that kept in Israel from the days of Samuel the prophet; neither did all the kings of Israel keep such a passover as Josiah kept, and the {priests}, and the Levites, and all Judah and Israel that were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem. priests <2CH36 -14> Moreover all the chief of the {priests}, and the people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of the LORD which he had hallowed in Jerusalem. priests Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the {priests}, and the Levites, with all [them] whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD which [is] in Jerusalem. priests The {priests}: the children of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred seventy and three. priests And of the children of the {priests}: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai; which took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name: priests They gave after their ability unto the treasure of the work threescore and one thousand drams of gold, and five thousand pound of silver, and one hundred {priests}' garments. priests So the {priests}, and the Levites, and [some] of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities. priests Then stood up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the {priests}, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and builded the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as [it is] written in the law o f Moses the man of God. priests Now in the second year of their coming unto the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the {priests} and the Levites, and al l they that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to set forward the work of the house of the LORD. priests And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the LORD, they set the {priests} in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the LORD, after the ordinance of David king of Israel. priests But many of the {priests} and Levites and chief of the fathers, [who were] ancient men, that had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice; and many shouted aloud for joy: priests And that which they have need of, both young bullocks, and rams, and lambs, for the burnt offerings of the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, according to the appointment of the {priests} which [are] at Jerusalem, let it be given them day by day without fail: priests And the children of Israel, the {priests}, and the Levites, and the rest of the children of the captivity, kept the dedication of this house of God with joy, priests And they set the {priests} in their divisions, and the Levites in their courses, for the service of God, which [is] at Jerusalem; as it is written in the book of Moses. priests For the {priests} and the Levites were purified together, all of them [were] pure, and killed the passover for all the children of the captivity, and for their brethren the priests, and for themselves. priests For the priests and the Levites were purified together, all of them [were] pure, and killed the passover for all the children of the captivity, and for their brethren the {priests}, and for themselves. priests And there went up [some] of the children of Israel, and of the {priests}, and the Levites, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, unto Jerusalem, in the seventh year of Artaxerxes the king. priests I make a decree, that all they of the people of Israel, and [of] his {priests} and Levites, in my realm, which are minded of their own freewill to go up to Jerusalem, go with thee. priests And all the silver and gold that thou canst find in all the province of Babylon, with the freewill offering of the people, and of the {priests}, offering willingly for the house of their God which [is] in Jerusalem: priests Also we certify you, that touching any of the {priests} and Levites, singers, porters, Nethinims, or ministers of this house of God, it shall not be lawful to impose toll, tribute, or custom, upon them. priests And I gathered them together to the river that runneth to Ahava; and there abode we in tents three days: and I viewed the people, and the {priests}, and found there none of the sons of Levi. priests Then I separated twelve of the chief of the {priests}, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brethren with them, priests Watch ye, and keep [them], until ye weigh [them] before the chief of the {priests} and the Levites, and chief of the fathers of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the LORD. priests So took the {priests} and the Levites the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring [them] to Jerusalem unto the house of our God. priests Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the {priests}, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, [doing] according to their abominations, [even] of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites. priests Since the days of our fathers [have] we [been] in a great trespass unto this day; and for our iniquities have we, our kings, [and] our {priests}, been delivered into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, and to a spoil, and to confusion of face, as [it is] this day. priests Then arose Ezra, and made the chief {priests}, the Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they should do according to this word. And they sware. priests And among the sons of the {priests} there were found that had taken strange wives: [namely], of the sons of Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren; Maaseiah, and Eliezer, and Jarib, and Gedaliah. priests And the rulers knew not whither I went, or what I did; neither had I as yet told [it] to the Jews, nor to the {priests}, nor to the nobles, nor to the rulers, nor to the rest that did the work. priests Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the {priests}, and they builded the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even unto the tower of Meah they sanctified it, unto the tower of Hananeel. priests And after him repaired the {priests}, the men of the plain. priests From above the horse gate repaired the {priests}, every one over against his house. priests Then said they, We will restore [them], and will require nothing of them; so will we do as thou sayest. Then I called the {priests}, and took an oath of them, that they should do according to this promise. priests The {priests}: the children of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred seventy and three. priests And of the {priests}: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai, which took [one] of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite to wife, and was called after their name. priests And some of the chief of the fathers gave unto the work. The Tirshatha gave to the treasure a thousand drams of gold, fifty basins, five hundred and thirty {priests}' garments. priests And [that] which the rest of the people gave [was] twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand pound of silver, and threescore and seven {priests}' garments. priests So the {priests}, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and [some] of the people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel [were] in their cities. priests And on the second day were gathered together the chief of the fathers of all the people, the {priests}, and the Levites, unto Ezra the scribe, even to understand the words of the law. priests Now therefore, our God, the great, the mighty, and the terrible God, who keepest covenant and mercy, let not all the trouble seem little before thee, that hath come upon us, on our kings, on our princes, and on our {priests}, and on our prophets, and on our fathers, and on all thy people, since the time of the kings of Assyria unto this day. priests Neither have our kings, our princes, our {priests}, nor our fathers, kept thy law, nor hearkened unto thy commandments and thy testimonies, wherewith thou didst testify against them. priests And because of all this we make a sure [covenant], and write [it]; and our princes, Levites, [and] {priests}, seal [unto it]. priests Maaziah, Bilgai, Shemaiah: these [were] the {priests}. priests And the rest of the people, the {priests}, the Levites, the porters, the singers, the Nethinims, and all they that had separated themselves from the people of the lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every one having knowledge, and having understanding; priests And we cast the lots among the {priests}, the Levites, and the people, for the wood offering, to bring [it] into the house of our God, after the houses of our fathers, at times appointed year by year, to burn upon the altar of the LORD our God, as [it is] written in the law: priests Also the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as [it is] written in the law, and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, unto the {priests} that minister in the house of our God: priests And [that] we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the {priests}, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground unto the Le vites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage. priests For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where [are] the vessels of the sanctuary, and the {priests} that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God. priests Now these [are] the chief of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, [to wit], Israel, the {priests}, and the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of So lomon's servants. priests Of the {priests}: Jedaiah the son of Joiarib, Jachin. priests And the residue of Israel, of the {priests}, [and] the Levites, [were] in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance. priests Now these [are] the {priests} and the Levites that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra, priests Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These [were] the chief of the {priests} and of their brethren in the days of Jeshua. priests And in the days of Joiakim were {priests}, the chief of the fathers: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah; priests The Levites in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, [were] recorded chief of the fathers: also the {priests}, to the reign of Darius the Persian. priests And the {priests} and the Levites purified themselves, and purified the people, and the gates, and the wall. priests And [certain] of the {priests}' sons with trumpets; [namely], Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Michaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph: priests And the {priests}; Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, [and] Hananiah, with trumpets; priests And at that time were some appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions of the law for the {priests} and Lev ites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that waited. priests And at that time were some appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions of the law for the priests and Levit es: for Judah rejoiced for the {priests} and for the Levites that waited. priests And he had prepared for him a great chamber, where aforetime they laid the meat offerings, the frankincense, and the vessels, and the tithes of the corn, the new wine, and the oil, which was commanded [to be given] to the Levites, and t he singers, and the porters; and the offerings of the {priests}. priests Thus cleansed I them from all strangers, and appointed the wards of the {priests} and the Levites, every one in his business; priests Their {priests} fell by the sword; and their widows made no lamentation. priests Moses and Aaron among his {priests}, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them. priests Let thy {priests} be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy. priests I will also clothe her {priests} with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy. priests And he sent Eliakim, who [was] over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the {priests} covered with sackcloth, unto Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz. priests But ye shall be named the {Priests} of the LORD: [men] shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves. priests And I will also take of them for {priests} [and] for Levites, saith the LORD. priests The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the {priests} that [were] in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin: priests For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brazen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the {priests} thereof, and against the people of the l and. priests The {priests} said not, Where [is] the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after [things that] do not profit. priests As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel ashamed; they, their kings, their princes, and their {priests}, and their prophets, priests And it shall come to pass at that day, saith the LORD, [that] the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the {priests} shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder. priests The prophets prophesy falsely, and the {priests} bear rule by their means; and my people love [to have it] so: and what will ye do in the end thereof? priests At that time, saith the LORD, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his princes, and the bones of the {priests}, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves: priests Then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will fill all the inhabitants of this land, even the kings that sit upon David's throne, and the {priests}, and the prophets, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, with drun kenness. priests Thus saith the LORD, Go and get a potter's earthen bottle, and [take] of the ancients of the people, and of the ancients of the {priests}; priests So the {priests} and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the LORD. priests Now it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the LORD had commanded [him] to speak unto all the people, that the {priests} and the prophets and all the people took him, saying, Thou shalt surely die. priests Then spake the {priests} and the prophets unto the princes and to all the people, saying, This man [is] worthy to die; for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears. priests Then said the princes and all the people unto the {priests} and to the prophets; This man [is] not worthy to die: for he hath spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God. priests Also I spake to the {priests} and to all this people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the LORD'S house shall now shortly be brought again fro m Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you. priests And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, [and] in the fifth month, [that] Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, which [was] of Gibeon, spake unto me in the house of the LORD, in the presence of the {priests} and of all the people, saying, priests Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the {priests}, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of the LORD, priests Now these [are] the words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem unto the residue of the elders which were carried away captives, and to the {priests}, and to the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon; priests Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, Because thou hast sent letters in thy name unto all the people that [are] at Jerusalem, and to Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, and to all the {priests}, saying, priests And I will satiate the soul of the {priests} with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the LORD. priests Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their {priests}, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitan ts of Jerusalem. priests Neither shall the {priests} the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually. priests Then] may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the {priests}, my ministers. priests The princes of Judah, and the princes of Jerusalem, the eunuchs, and the {priests}, and all the people of the land, which passed between the parts of the calf; priests For because thou hast trusted in thy works and in thy treasures, thou shalt also be taken: and Chemosh shall go forth into captivity [with] his {priests} and his princes together. priests Howl, O Heshbon, for Ai is spoiled: cry, ye daughters of Rabbah, gird you with sackcloth; lament, and run to and fro by the hedges; for their king shall go into captivity, [and] his {priests} and his princes together. priests The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her {priests} sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she [is] in bitterness. priests I called for my lovers, [but] they deceived me: my {priests} and mine elders gave up the ghost in the city, while they sought their meat to relieve their souls. priests For the sins of her prophets, [and] the iniquities of her {priests}, that have shed the blood of the just in the midst of her, priests The anger of the LORD hath divided them; he will no more regard them: they respected not the persons of the {priests}, they favoured not the elders. priests Her {priests} have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they showed [difference] between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. priests And he said unto me, This chamber, whose prospect [is] toward the south, [is] for the {priests}, the keepers of the charge of the house. priests And the chamber whose prospect [is] toward the north [is] for the {priests}, the keepers of the charge of the altar: these [are] the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, which come near to the LORD to minister unto him. priests Then said he unto me, The north chambers [and] the south chambers, which [are] before the separate place, they [be] holy chambers, where the {priests} that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering;
