herb And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the {herb} yielding seed, [and] the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed [is] in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. herb And the earth brought forth grass, [and] {herb} yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed [was] in itself, after his kind: and God saw that [it was] good. herb And God said, Behold, I have given you every {herb} bearing seed, which [is] upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which [is] the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. herb And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein [there is] life, [I have given] every green {herb} for meat: and it was so. herb And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every {herb} of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and [there was] not a man to till the ground. herb Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the {herb} of the field; herb Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green {herb} have I given you all things. herb And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch forth thine hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every {herb} of the field, throughout the land of Egypt. herb And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that [was] in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every {herb} of the field, and brake every tree of the field. herb And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every {herb} of the land, [even] all that the hail hath left. herb For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every {herb} of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt. herb My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender {herb}, and as the showers upon the grass: herb <2KI19 -26> Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded; they were [as] the grass of the field, and [as] the green {herb}, [as] the grass on the house tops, and [as corn] blasted before it be grown up. herb Whilst it [is] yet in his greenness, [and] not cut down, it withereth before any [other] {herb}. herb To satisfy the desolate and waste [ground]; and to cause the bud of the tender {herb} to spring forth? herb For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green {herb}. herb He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and {herb} for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth; herb Therefore their inhabitants [were] of small power, they were dismayed and confounded: they were [as] the grass of the field, and [as] the green {herb}, [as] the grass on the housetops, and [as corn] blasted before it be grown up. herb And when ye see [this], your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an {herb}: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and [his] indignation toward his enemies. ~~~~~~
