son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:
took <NUM24 -15> And he {took} up his parable, and said, Balaam
the
son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:

parable, and said, Amalek [was] the first of the nations; but his
latter end [shall be] that he perish for ever.

thy

who
shall live when God doeth this!
took <NUM25 -7> And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of
Aaron the priest, saw [it], he rose up from among the
congregation,
and {took} a javelin in his hand;
took <NUM27 -22> And Moses did as the LORD commanded him: and he
{took} Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before
all
the congregation:
took <NUM31 -9> And the children of Israel {took} [all] the
women of
Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all
their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods.
took <NUM31 -9> And the children of Israel took [all] the women
of
Midian captives, and their little ones, and {took} the spoil of
all
their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods.
took <NUM31 -11> And they {took} all the spoil, and all the prey,
[both] of men and of beasts.
took <NUM31 -27> And divide the prey into two parts; between them
that {took} the war upon them, who went out to battle, and
between
all the congregation:
took <NUM31 -47> Even of the children of Israel's half, Moses
{took}
one portion of fifty, [both] of man and of beast, and gave them
unto
the Levites, which kept the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD;
as
the LORD commanded Moses.
took <NUM31 -51> And Moses and Eleazar the priest {took} the
gold of
them, [even] all wrought jewels.
took <NUM31 -54> And Moses and Eleazar the priest {took} the

of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.
took <DEU1 -15> So I {took} the chief of your tribes, wise men,
and
known, and made them heads over you, captains over thousands, and
captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains
over
tens, and officers among your tribes.
took <DEU1 -23> And the saying pleased me well: and I {took}
twelve
men of you, one of a tribe:
took <DEU1 -25> And they {took} of the fruit of the land in their
hands, and brought [it] down unto us, and brought us word again,
and
said, [It is] a good land which the LORD our God doth give us.
took <DEU2 -1> Then we turned, and {took} our journey into the
wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the LORD spake unto me:
and
we compassed mount Seir many days.
took <DEU2 -34> And we {took} all his cities at that time, and
utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of
every city, we left none to remain:
took <DEU2 -35> Only the cattle we took for a prey unto
ourselves,
and the spoil of the cities which we {took}.
took <DEU2 -35> Only the cattle we {took} for a prey unto
ourselves,
and the spoil of the cities which we took.
took <DEU3 -4> And we took all his cities at that time, there was
not a city which we {took} not from them, threescore cities, all
the
region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.
took <DEU3 -4> And we {took} all his cities at that time, there
was
not a city which we took not from them, threescore cities, all
the
region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.
took <DEU3 -7> But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities,
we
{took} for a prey to ourselves.
took <DEU3 -8> And we {took} at that time out of the hand of the
two
kings of the Amorites the land that [was] on this side Jordan,
from
the river of Arnon unto mount Hermon;
took <DEU3 -14> Jair the son of Manasseh {took} all the country
of
Argob unto the coasts of Geshuri and Maachathi; and called them
after his own name, Bashanhavothjair, unto this day.
took <DEU9 -17> And I {took} the two tables, and cast them out
of my
two hands, and brake them before your eyes.
took <DEU9 -21> And I {took} your sin, the calf which ye had
made,
and burnt it with fire, and stamped it, [and] ground [it] very
small, [even] until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust
thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount.
took <DEU10 -6> And the children of Israel {took} their journey
from
Beeroth of the children of Jaakan to Mosera: there Aaron died,
and
there he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered in the
priest's
office in his stead.
took <DEU22 -14> And give occasions of speech against her, and
bring
up an evil name upon her, and say, I {took} this woman, and when
I
came to her, I found her not a maid:
took <DEU24 -3> And [if] the latter husband hate her, and write
her
a bill of divorcement, and giveth [it] in her hand, and sendeth
her
out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which {took} her
[to
be] his wife;
took <DEU29 -8> And we {took} their land, and gave it for an
inheritance unto the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to the
half
tribe of Manasseh.
took <JOS2 -4> And the woman {took} the two men, and hid them,
and
said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they
[were]:
took <JOS3 -6> And Joshua spake unto the priests, saying, Take up
the ark of the covenant, and pass over before the people. And
they
{took} up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people.
took <JOS4 -8> And the children of Israel did so as Joshua
commanded, and {took} up twelve stones out of the midst of
Jordan,
as the LORD spake unto Joshua, according to the number of the
tribes
of the children of Israel, and carried them over with them u
nto the place where they lodged, and laid them down there.
took <JOS4 -20> And those twelve stones, which they {took} out of
Jordan, did Joshua pitch in Gilgal.
took <JOS6 -12> And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the
priests {took} up the ark of the LORD.
took <JOS6 -20> So the people shouted when [the priests] blew
with
the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the
sound
of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that
the
wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into
the city, every man straight before him, and they {took} the
city.
took <JOS7 -1> But the children of Israel committed a trespass in
the accursed thing: for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of
Zabdi,
the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, {took} of the accursed
thing: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against the c
hildren of Israel.
took <JOS7 -17> And he brought the family of Judah; and he {took}
the family of the Zarhites: and he brought the family of the
Zarhites man by man; and Zabdi was taken:
took <JOS7 -21> When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish
garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold
of
fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and {took} them; and,
behold, they [are] hid in the earth in the midst of my tent
, and the silver under it.
took <JOS7 -23> And they {took} them out of the midst of the
tent,
and brought them unto Joshua, and unto all the children of
Israel,
and laid them out before the LORD.
took <JOS7 -24> And Joshua, and all Israel with him, {took} Achan
the son of Zerah, and the silver, and the garment, and the wedge
of
gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his

they brought them unto the valley of Achor.
took <JOS8 -12> And he {took} about five thousand men, and set
them
to lie in ambush between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of the
city.
took <JOS8 -19> And the ambush arose quickly out of their place,
and
they ran as soon as he had stretched out his hand: and they
entered
into the city, and {took} it, and hasted and set the city on
fire.
took <JOS8 -23> And the king of Ai they {took} alive, and brought
him to Joshua.
took <JOS8 -27> Only the cattle and the spoil of that city Israel
{took} for a prey unto themselves, according unto the word of the
LORD which he commanded Joshua.
took <JOS9 -4> They did work wilily, and went and made as if they
had been ambassadors, and {took} old sacks upon their asses, and
wine bottles, old, and rent, and bound up;
took <JOS9 -12> This our bread we {took} hot [for] our provision
out
of our houses on the day we came forth to go unto you; but now,
behold, it is dry, and it is mouldy:
took <JOS9 -14> And the men {took} of their victuals, and asked
not
[counsel] at the mouth of the LORD.
took <JOS10 -27> And it came to pass at the time of the going
down

off
the trees, and cast them into the cave wherein they had been hid,
and laid great stones in the cave's mouth, [which remai
n] until this very day.
took <JOS10 -28> And that day Joshua {took} Makkedah, and smote
it
with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof he utterly
destroyed, them, and all the souls that [were] therein; he let
none
remain: and he did to the king of Makkedah as he did unto th
e king of Jericho.
took <JOS10 -32> And the LORD delivered Lachish into the hand of
Israel, which {took} it on the second day, and smote it with the

took <JOS10 -35> And they {took} it on that day, and smote it
with
the edge of the sword, and all the souls that [were] therein he
utterly destroyed that day, according to all that he had done to
Lachish.
took <JOS10 -37> And they {took} it, and smote it with the edge
of
the sword, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof, and
all
the souls that [were] therein; he left none remaining, according
to
all that he had done to Eglon; but destroyed it utt
erly, and all the souls that [were] therein.
took <JOS10 -39> And he {took} it, and the king thereof, and all
the
cities thereof; and they smote them with the edge of the sword,
and
utterly destroyed all the souls that [were] therein; he left none
remaining: as he had done to Hebron, so he did to De
bir, and to the king thereof; as he had done also to Libnah, and
to
her king.
took <JOS11 -10> And Joshua at that time turned back, and {took}

cattle,
the children of Israel {took} for a prey unto themselves; but

all
the south country, and all the land of Goshen, and the valley,

land rested from war.

fallen down dead on the earth.
took <JUG3 -28> And he said unto them, Follow after me: for the

took <JUG11 -15> And said unto him, Thus saith Jephthah, Israel
{took} not away the land of Moab, nor the land of the children of
Ammon:

before the Ephraimites: and it was [so] that when those
Ephraimites
which were escaped said, Let me go over; that the men of Gilead

of
Bethshemesh, [and] went along the highway, lowing as they went,
and
turned not aside [to] the right hand or [to] the left; and the
lords
of the Philistines went after them unto the border
of Bethshemesh.
took <1SA6 -15> And the Levites {took} down the ark of the LORD,
and
the coffer that [was] with it, wherein the jewels of gold [were],
and put [them] on the great stone: and the men of Bethshemesh
offered burnt offerings and sacrificed sacrifices the same
day unto the LORD.
took <1SA7 -9> And Samuel {took} a sucking lamb, and offered [it
for] a burnt offering wholly unto the LORD: and Samuel cried unto
the LORD for Israel; and the LORD heard him.
took <1SA7 -12> Then Samuel {took} a stone, and set [it] between
Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying,
Hitherto hath the LORD helped us.
took <1SA8 -3> And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned
aside
after lucre, and {took} bribes, and perverted judgment.
took <1SA9 -22> And Samuel {took} Saul and his servant, and
brought
them into the parlour, and made them sit in the chiefest place
among
them that were bidden, which [were] about thirty persons.
took <1SA9 -24> And the cook {took} up the shoulder, and [that]
which [was] upon it, and set [it] before Saul. And [Samuel] said,
Behold that which is left! set [it] before thee, [and] eat: for
unto
this time hath it been kept for thee since I said, I hav
e invited the people. So Saul did eat with Samuel that day.
took <1SA10 -1> Then Samuel {took} a vial of oil, and poured [it]
upon his head, and kissed him, and said, [Is it] not because the
LORD hath anointed thee [to be] captain over his inheritance?
took <1SA11 -7> And he {took} a yoke of oxen, and hewed them in
pieces, and sent [them] throughout all the coasts of Israel by
the
hands of messengers, saying, Whosoever cometh not forth after
Saul
and after Samuel, so shall it be done unto his oxen. And
the fear of the LORD fell on the people, and they came out with
one
consent.
took <1SA14 -32> And the people flew upon the spoil, and {took}
sheep, and oxen, and calves, and slew [them] on the ground: and
the
people did eat [them] with the blood.
took <1SA14 -47> So Saul {took} the kingdom over Israel, and
fought
against all his enemies on every side, against Moab, and against
the
children of Ammon, and against Edom, and against the kings of
Zobah,
and against the Philistines: and whithersoever he
turned himself, he vexed [them].
took <1SA14 -52> And there was sore war against the Philistines
all
the days of Saul: and when Saul saw any strong man, or any
valiant
man, he {took} him unto him.
took <1SA15 -8> And he {took} Agag the king of the Amalekites
alive,
and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.
took <1SA15 -21> But the people {took} of the spoil, sheep and
oxen,
the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed,
to
sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal.
took <1SA16 -13> Then Samuel {took} the horn of oil, and anointed
him in the midst of his brethren: and the spirit of the LORD came
upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to
Ramah.
took <1SA16 -20> And Jesse {took} an ass [laden] with bread, and
a
bottle of wine, and a kid, and sent [them] by David his son unto
Saul.
took <1SA16 -23> And it came to pass, when the [evil] spirit from
God was upon Saul, that David {took} an harp, and played with his
hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit
departed from him.
took <1SA17 -20> And David rose up early in the morning, and left
the sheep with a keeper, and {took}, and went, as Jesse had
commanded him; and he came to the trench, as the host was going
forth to the fight, and shouted for the battle.
took <1SA17 -34> And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his
father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and {took} a
lamb
out of the flock:
took <1SA17 -40> And he {took} his staff in his hand, and chose
him
five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's
bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling [was] in his
hand:
and he drew near to the Philistine.
took <1SA17 -49> And David put his hand in his bag, and {took}
thence a stone, and slang [it], and smote the Philistine in his
forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon
his face to the earth.
took <1SA17 -51> Therefore David ran, and stood upon the
Philistine,
and {took} his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and
slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the
Philistines
saw their champion was dead, they fled.
took <1SA17 -54> And David {took} the head of the Philistine, and
brought it to Jerusalem; but he put his armour in his tent.
took <1SA17 -57> And as David returned from the slaughter of the
Philistine, Abner {took} him, and brought him before Saul with
the
head of the Philistine in his hand.
took <1SA18 -2> And Saul {took} him that day, and would let him
go
no more home to his father's house.
took <1SA19 -13> And Michal {took} an image, and laid [it] in the
bed, and put a pillow of goats' [hair] for his bolster, and
covered
[it] with a cloth.
took <1SA24 -2> Then Saul {took} three thousand chosen men out of
all Israel, and went to seek David and his men upon the rocks of
the
wild goats.
took <1SA25 -18> Then Abigail made haste, and {took} two hundred
loaves, and two bottles of wine, and five sheep ready dressed,
and
five measures of parched [corn], and an hundred clusters of
raisins,
and two hundred cakes of figs, and laid [them] on asse
s.
took <1SA25 -43> David also {took} Ahinoam of Jezreel; and they
were
also both of them his wives.
took <1SA26 -12> So David {took} the spear and the cruse of water
from Saul's bolster; and they gat them away, and no man saw [it],
nor knew [it], neither awaked: for they [were] all asleep;
because a
deep sleep from the LORD was fallen upon them.
took <1SA27 -9> And David smote the land, and left neither man
nor
woman alive, and {took} away the sheep, and the oxen, and the
asses,
and the camels, and the apparel, and returned, and came to
Achish.
took <1SA28 -24> And the woman had a fat calf in the house; and
she
hasted, and killed it, and {took} flour, and kneaded [it], and
did
bake unleavened bread thereof:
took <1SA30 -20> And David {took} all the flocks and the herds,
[which] they drave before those [other] cattle, and said, This
[is]
David's spoil.
took <1SA31 -4> Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy
sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised
come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer
would
not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul {took} a sword
, and fell upon it.
took <1SA31 -12> All the valiant men arose, and went all night,
and
{took} the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons from the wall
of
Bethshan, and came to Jabesh, and burnt them there.
took <1SA31 -13> And they {took} their bones, and buried [them]
under a tree at Jabesh, and fasted seven days.
took <2SA1 -10> So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was
sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I
{took}
the crown that [was] upon his head, and the bracelet that [was]
on
his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord.
took <2SA1 -11> Then David {took} hold on his clothes, and rent
them; and likewise all the men that [were] with him:
took <2SA2 -8> But Abner the son of Ner, captain of Saul's host,
{took} Ishbosheth the son of Saul, and brought him over to
Mahanaim;
took <2SA2 -32> And they {took} up Asahel, and buried him in the
sepulchre of his father, which [was in] Bethlehem. And Joab and
his
men went all night, and they came to Hebron at break of day.
took <2SA3 -15> And Ishbosheth sent, and {took} her from [her]
husband, [even] from Phaltiel the son of Laish.
took <2SA3 -27> And when Abner was returned to Hebron, Joab
{took}
him aside in the gate to speak with him quietly, and smote him
there
under the fifth [rib], that he died, for the blood of Asahel his
brother.
took <2SA3 -36> And all the people {took} notice [of it], and it
pleased them: as whatsoever the king did pleased all the people.
took <2SA4 -4> And Jonathan, Saul's son, had a son [that was]
lame
of [his] feet. He was five years old when the tidings came of
Saul
and Jonathan out of Jezreel, and his nurse {took} him up, and
fled:
and it came to pass, as she made haste to flee, that
he fell, and became lame. And his name [was] Mephibosheth.
took <2SA4 -7> For when they came into the house, he lay on his
bed
in his bedchamber, and they smote him, and slew him, and beheaded
him, and {took} his head, and gat them away through the plain all
night.
took <2SA4 -10> When one told me, saying, Behold, Saul is dead,
thinking to have brought good tidings, I {took} hold of him, and
slew him in Ziklag, who [thought] that I would have given him a
reward for his tidings:
took <2SA4 -12> And David commanded his young men, and they slew
them, and cut off their hands and their feet, and hanged [them]
up
over the pool in Hebron. But they {took} the head of Ishbosheth,
and
buried [it] in the sepulchre of Abner in Hebron.
took <2SA5 -7> Nevertheless David {took} the strong hold of Zion:
the same [is] the city of David.
took <2SA5 -13> And David {took} [him] more concubines and wives
out
of Jerusalem, after he was come from Hebron: and there were yet
sons
and daughters born to David.
took <2SA6 -6> And when they came to Nachon's threshingfloor,
Uzzah
put forth [his hand] to the ark of God, and {took} hold of it;
for
the oxen shook [it].
took <2SA7 -8> Now therefore so shalt thou say unto my servant
David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I {took} thee from the
sheepcote, from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people,
over Israel:
took <2SA7 -15> But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I
{took} [it] from Saul, whom I put away before thee.
took <2SA8 -1> And after this it came to pass, that David smote
the
Philistines, and subdued them: and David {took} Methegammah out
of
the hand of the Philistines.
took <2SA8 -4> And David {took} from him a thousand [chariots],
and
seven hundred horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen: and David
hocked all the chariot [horses], but reserved of them [for] an
hundred chariots.
took <2SA8 -7> And David {took} the shields of gold that were on
the
servants of Hadadezer, and brought them to Jerusalem.
took <2SA8 -8> And from Betah, and from Berothai, cities of
Hadadezer, king David {took} exceeding much brass.
took <2SA10 -4> Wherefore Hanun {took} David's servants, and
shaved
off the one half of their beards, and cut off their garments in
the
middle, [even] to their buttocks, and sent them away.
took <2SA11 -4> And David sent messengers, and {took} her; and
she
came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from
her
uncleanness: and she returned unto her house.
took <2SA12 -4> And there came a traveller unto the rich man,
and he
spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress for
the wayfaring man that was come unto him; but {took} the poor
man's
lamb, and dressed it for the man that was come to hi
m.
took <2SA12 -26> And Joab fought against Rabbah of the children
of
Ammon, and {took} the royal city.
took <2SA12 -29> And David gathered all the people together, and
went to Rabbah, and fought against it, and {took} it.
took <2SA12 -30> And he {took} their king's crown from off his
head,
the weight whereof [was] a talent of gold with the precious
stones:
and it was [set] on David's head. And he brought forth the spoil
of
the city in great abundance.
took <2SA13 -8> So Tamar went to her brother Amnon's house; and
he
was laid down. And she {took} flour, and kneaded [it], and made
cakes in his sight, and did bake the cakes.
took <2SA13 -9> And she {took} a pan, and poured [them] out
before
him; but he refused to eat. And Amnon said, Have out all men from
me. And they went out every man from him.
took <2SA13 -10> And Amnon said unto Tamar, Bring the meat into
the
chamber, that I may eat of thine hand. And Tamar {took} the cakes
which she had made, and brought [them] into the chamber to Amnon
her
brother.
took <2SA13 -11> And when she had brought [them] unto him to eat,
he
{took} hold of her, and said unto her, Come lie with me, my
sister.

him] to do him obeisance, he put forth his hand, and {took} him,
and
kissed him.
took <2SA17 -19> And the woman {took} and spread a covering over
the
well's mouth, and spread ground corn thereon; and the thing was
not
known.
took <2SA18 -14> Then said Joab, I may not tarry thus with thee.
And
he {took} three darts in his hand, and thrust them through the
heart
of Absalom, while he [was] yet alive in the midst of the oak.
took <2SA18 -17> And they {took} Absalom, and cast him into a
great
pit in the wood, and laid a very great heap of stones upon him:
and
all Israel fled every one to his tent.
took <2SA20 -3> And David came to his house at Jerusalem; and the
king {took} the ten women [his] concubines, whom he had left to
keep
the house, and put them in ward, and fed them, but went not in
unto
them. So they were shut up unto the day of their dea

took <2SA20 -9> And Joab said to Amasa, [Art] thou in health, my
brother? And Joab {took} Amasa by the beard with the right hand
to
kiss him.
took <2SA20 -10> But Amasa {took} no heed to the sword that
[was] in
Joab's hand: so he smote him therewith in the fifth [rib], and
shed
out his bowels to the ground, and struck him not again; and he
died.
So Joab and Abishai his brother pursued after She
ba the son of Bichri.
took <2SA21 -8> But the king {took} the two sons of Rizpah the

took <2SA21 -12> And David went and {took} the bones of Saul and

took <2SA22 -17> He sent from above, he {took} me; he drew me
out of
many waters;
took <2SA23 -16> And the three mighty men brake through the host
of

him victuals, and gave him land.
took <1KI12 -28> Whereupon the king {took} counsel, and made two

f Tabrimon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, that dwelt at
Damascus, saying,
took <1KI15 -22> Then king Asa made a proclamation throughout all

Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha had builded; and
king Asa built with them Geba of Benjamin, and Mizpah.
took <1KI16 -31> And it came to pass, as if it had been a light

Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.

nation, that they found thee not.
took <1KI18 -26> And they {took} the bullock which was given

took <2KI8 -9> So Hazael went to meet him, and {took} a present
with
him, even of every good thing of Damascus, forty camels' burden,
and
came and stood before him, and said, Thy son Benhadad king of
Syria
hath sent me to thee, saying, Shall I recover of
this disease?
took <2KI8 -15> And it came to pass on the morrow, that he
{took} a

face,
so that he died: and Hazael reigned in his stead.

them
alive, and slew them at the pit of the shearing house, [even] two
and forty men; neither left he any of them.

] thine hand. And he gave [him] his hand; and he {took} him up to
him into the chariot.

took <2KI11 -2> But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram,
sister of
Ahaziah, {took} Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from

D, and showed them the king's son.
took <2KI11 -9> And the captains over the hundreds did according

that should go out on the sabbath, and came to Jehoiada t
he priest.
took <2KI11 -19> And he {took} the rulers over hundreds, and the
captains, and the guard, and all the people of the land; and they

at on the throne of the kings.
took <2KI12 -9> But Jehoiada the priest {took} a chest, and
bored a
hole in the lid of it, and set it beside the altar, on the right

them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake,
although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
took <JER32 -10> And I subscribed the evidence, and sealed [it],
and
{took} witnesses, and weighed [him] the money in the balances.
took <JER32 -11> So I {took} the evidence of the purchase, [both]
that which was sealed [according] to the law and custom, and that
which was open:
took <JER35 -3> Then I {took} Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the
son
of Habaziniah, and his brethren, and all his sons, and the whole
house of the Rechabites;
took <JER36 -14> Therefore all the princes sent Jehudi the son of
Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, unto Baruch,
saying, Take in thine hand the roll wherein thou hast read in the
ears of the people, and come. So Baruch the son of Neriah {
took} the roll in his hand, and came unto them.
took <JER36 -21> So the king sent Jehudi to fetch the roll: and
he
{took} it out of Elishama the scribe's chamber. And Jehudi read
it
in the ears of the king, and in the ears of all the princes which
stood beside the king.
took <JER36 -32> Then {took} Jeremiah another roll, and gave it
to
Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah; who wrote therein from the
mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king
of
Judah had burned in the fire: and there were added besi
des unto them many like words.
took <JER37 -13> And when he was in the gate of Benjamin, a
captain
of the ward [was] there, whose name [was] Irijah, the son of
Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he {took} Jeremiah the
prophet,
saying, Thou fallest away to the Chaldeans.
took <JER37 -14> Then said Jeremiah, [It is] false; I fall not
away
to the Chaldeans. But he hearkened not to him: so Irijah {took}
Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes.
took <JER37 -17> Then Zedekiah the king sent, and {took} him out:
and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there
[any] word from the LORD? And Jeremiah said, There is: for, said
he,
thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Ba
bylon.
took <JER38 -6> Then {took} they Jeremiah, and cast him into the
dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that [was] in the
court of
the prison: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the
dungeon [there was] no water, but mire: so Jeremiah sunk in
the mire.
took <JER38 -11> So Ebedmelech took the men with him, and went
into
the house of the king under the treasury, and {took} thence old
cast
clouts and old rotten rags, and let them down by cords into the
dungeon to Jeremiah.
took <JER38 -11> So Ebedmelech {took} the men with him, and went
into the house of the king under the treasury, and took thence
old
cast clouts and old rotten rags, and let them down by cords into
the
dungeon to Jeremiah.
took <JER38 -13> So they drew up Jeremiah with cords, and {took}
him
up out of the dungeon: and Jeremiah remained in the court of the
prison.
took <JER38 -14> Then Zedekiah the king sent, and {took} Jeremiah
the prophet unto him into the third entry that [is] in the house
of
the LORD: and the king said unto Jeremiah, I will ask thee a
thing;
hide nothing from me.
took <JER39 -14> Even they sent, and {took} Jeremiah out of the
court of the prison, and committed him unto Gedaliah the son of
Ahikam the son of Shaphan, that he should carry him home: so he
dwelt among the people.
took <JER40 -2> And the captain of the guard {took} Jeremiah, and
said unto him, The LORD thy God hath pronounced this evil upon
this
place.
took <JER41 -12> Then they {took} all the men, and went to fight
with Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and found him by the great
waters
that [are] in Gibeon.
took <JER41 -16> Then {took} Johanan the son of Kareah, and all
the
captains of the forces that [were] with him, all the remnant of
the
people whom he had recovered from Ishmael the son of Nethaniah,
from
Mizpah, after [that] he had slain Gedaliah the son
of Ahikam, [even] mighty men of war, and the women, and the
children, and the eunuchs, whom he had brought again from Gibeon:
took <JER43 -5> But Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the
captains
of the forces, {took} all the remnant of Judah, that were
returned
from all nations, whither they had been driven, to dwell in the
land
of Judah;
took <JER50 -33> Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The children of
Israel and the children of Judah [were] oppressed together: and
all
that {took} them captives held them fast; they refused to let
them
go.
took <JER50 -43> The king of Babylon hath heard the report of
them,
and his hands waxed feeble: anguish {took} hold of him, [and]
pangs
as of a woman in travail.
took <JER52 -9> Then they {took} the king, and carried him up
unto
the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath; where he
gave
judgment upon him.
took <JER52 -18> The caldrons also, and the shovels, and the
snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and all the vessels of
brass wherewith they ministered, {took} they away.
took <JER52 -19> And the basins, and the firepans, and the bowls,
and the caldrons, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the
cups; [that] which [was] of gold [in] gold, and [that] which
[was]
of silver [in] silver, {took} the captain of the guard awa
y.
took <JER52 -24> And the captain of the guard {took} Seraiah the
chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three
keepers
of the door:
took <JER52 -25> He {took} also out of the city an eunuch, which
had
the charge of the men of war; and seven men of them that were
near
the king's person, which were found in the city; and the
principal
scribe of the host, who mustered the people of the l
and; and threescore men of the people of the land, that were
found
in the midst of the city.
took <JER52 -26> So Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard {took}
them, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah.
took <LAM5 -13> They {took} the young men to grind, and the
children
fell under the wood.
took <EZE3 -12> Then the spirit {took} me up, and I heard behind
me
a voice of a great rushing, [saying], Blessed [be] the glory of
the
LORD from his place.
took <EZE3 -14> So the spirit lifted me up, and {took} me away,
and
I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of
the
LORD was strong upon me.
took <EZE8 -3> And he put forth the form of an hand, and {took}
me
by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the
earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to
Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward t
he north; where [was] the seat of the image of jealousy, which
provoketh to jealousy.
took <EZE10 -7> And [one] cherub stretched forth his hand from
between the cherubims unto the fire that [was] between the
cherubims, and {took} [thereof], and put [it] into the hands of
[him
that was] clothed with linen: who took [it], and went out.
took <EZE10 -7> And [one] cherub stretched forth his hand from
between the cherubims unto the fire that [was] between the
cherubims, and took [thereof], and put [it] into the hands of
[him
that was] clothed with linen: who {took} [it], and went out.
took <EZE11 -24> Afterwards the spirit {took} me up, and brought
me
in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the
captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.
took <EZE16 -50> And they were haughty, and committed abomination
before me: therefore I {took} them away as I saw [good].
took <EZE17 -3> And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle
with
great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers
colours,
came unto Lebanon, and {took} the highest branch of the cedar:
took <EZE17 -5> He {took} also of the seed of the land, and
planted
it in a fruitful field; he placed [it] by great waters, [and]
set it
[as] a willow tree.
took <EZE19 -5> Now when she saw that she had waited, [and] her
hope
was lost, then she {took} another of her whelps, [and] made him a
young lion.
took <EZE23 -10> These discovered her nakedness: they {took} her
sons and her daughters, and slew her with the sword: and she
became
famous among women; for they had executed judgment upon her.
took <EZE23 -13> Then I saw that she was defiled, [that] they
[{took}] both one way,
took <EZE29 -7> When they {took} hold of thee by thy hand, thou
didst break, and rend all their shoulder: and when they leaned
upon
thee, thou brakest, and madest all their loins to be at a stand.
took <EZE33 -5> He heard the sound of the trumpet, and {took} not
warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning
shall deliver his soul.
took <EZE43 -5> So the spirit {took} me up, and brought me into
the
inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.
took <DAN1 -16> Thus Melzar {took} away the portion of their
meat,
and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.
