tobiah <EZR2 -60> The children of Delaiah, the children of
{Tobiah},
the children of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two.
tobiah <NEH2 -10> When Sanballat the Horonite, and {Tobiah} the
servant, the Ammonite, heard [of it], it grieved them exceedingly
that there was come a man to seek the welfare of the children of
Israel.
tobiah <NEH2 -19> But when Sanballat the Horonite, and {Tobiah}
the
servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian, heard [it], they
laughed us to scorn, and despised us, and said, What [is] this
thing
that ye do? will ye rebel against the king?
tobiah <NEH4 -3> Now {Tobiah} the Ammonite [was] by him, and he
said, Even that which they build, if a fox go up, he shall even
break down their stone wall.
tobiah <NEH4 -7> But it came to pass, [that] when Sanballat, and
{Tobiah}, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the
Ashdodites,
heard that the walls of Jerusalem were made up, [and] that the
breaches began to be stopped, then they were very wroth,
tobiah <NEH6 -1> Now it came to pass, when Sanballat, and
{Tobiah},
and Geshem the Arabian, and the rest of our enemies, heard that I
had builded the wall, and [that] there was no breach left
therein;
(though at that time I had not set up the doors upon t
he gates;)
tobiah <NEH6 -12> And, lo, I perceived that God had not sent him;
but that he pronounced this prophecy against me: for {Tobiah} and
Sanballat had hired him.
tobiah <NEH6 -14> My God, think thou upon {Tobiah} and Sanballat
according to these their works, and on the prophetess Noadiah,
and
the rest of the prophets, that would have put me in fear.
tobiah <NEH6 -17> Moreover in those days the nobles of Judah sent
many letters unto {Tobiah}, and [the letters] of Tobiah came unto
them.
tobiah <NEH6 -17> Moreover in those days the nobles of Judah sent
many letters unto Tobiah, and [the letters] of {Tobiah} came unto
them.
tobiah <NEH6 -19> Also they reported his good deeds before me,
and
uttered my words to him. [And] {Tobiah} sent letters to put me in
fear.
tobiah <NEH7 -62> The children of Delaiah, the children of
{Tobiah},
the children of Nekoda, six hundred forty and two.
tobiah <NEH13 -4> And before this, Eliashib the priest, having
the
oversight of the chamber of the house of our God, [was] allied
unto
{Tobiah}:
tobiah <NEH13 -7> And I came to Jerusalem, and understood of the
evil that Eliashib did for {Tobiah}, in preparing him a chamber
in
the courts of the house of God.
tobiah <NEH13 -8> And it grieved me sore: therefore I cast forth
all
the household stuff of {Tobiah} out of the chamber.
