set <EZR4 -13> Be it known now unto the king, that, if this city
be
builded, and the walls {set} up [again, then] will they not pay
toll, tribute, and custom, and [so] thou shalt endamage the
revenue
of the kings.
set <EZR4 -16> We certify the king that, if this city be builded
[again], and the walls thereof {set} up, by this means thou shalt
have no portion on this side the river.

had {set} up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the

watchman, let him declare what he seeth.
set <ISA21 -8> And he cried, A lion: My lord, I stand continually
upon the watchtower in the daytime, and I am {set} in my ward
whole
nights:
set <ISA22 -7> And it shall come to pass, [that] thy choicest
valleys shall be full of chariots, and the horsemen shall {set}
themselves in array at the gate.
set <ISA23 -13> Behold the land of the Chaldeans; this people was
not, [till] the Assyrian founded it for them that dwell in the
wilderness: they {set} up the towers thereof, they raised up the
palaces thereof; [and] he brought it to ruin.
set <ISA27 -4> Fury [is] not in me: who would {set} the briers
[and]
thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would
burn
them together.
set <ISA27 -11> When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall
be
broken off: the women come, [and] {set} them on fire: for it
[is] a
people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not
have mercy on them, and he that formed them will show
them no favour.
set <ISA36 -8> Now therefore give pledges, I pray thee, to my
master
the king of Assyria, and I will give thee two thousand horses, if
thou be able on thy part to {set} riders upon them.
set <ISA38 -1> In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And
Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto
him,
Thus saith the LORD, {Set} thine house in order: for thou shalt
die,
and not live.
set <ISA41 -19> I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the
shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will {set} in
the
desert the fir tree, [and] the pine, and the box tree together:
set <ISA42 -4> He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have
{set} judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his
law.
set <ISA42 -25> Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his
anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath {set} him on fire
round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid [it]
not to heart.
set <ISA44 -7> And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it,
and
{set} it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people?
and
the things that are coming, and shall come, let them show unto
them.
set <ISA45 -20> Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together,
ye
[that are] escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that
{set}
up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god [that]
cannot
save.
set <ISA46 -7> They bear him upon the shoulder, they carry him,
and
{set} him in his place, and he standeth; from his place shall he
not
remove: yea, [one] shall cry unto him, yet can he not answer, nor
save him out of his trouble.
set <ISA49 -22> Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up
mine
hand to the Gentiles, and {set} up my standard to the people: and
they shall bring thy sons in [their] arms, and thy daughters
shall
be carried upon [their] shoulders.
set <ISA50 -7> For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I
not
be confounded: therefore have I {set} my face like a flint, and I
know that I shall not be ashamed.
set <ISA57 -7> Upon a lofty and high mountain hast thou {set} thy
bed: even thither wentest thou up to offer sacrifice.
set <ISA57 -8> Behind the doors also and the posts hast thou
{set}
up thy remembrance: for thou hast discovered [thyself to another]
than me, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made
thee
[a covenant] with them; thou lovedst their bed where t
hou sawest [it].
set <ISA62 -6> I have {set} watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem,
[which] shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make
mention of the LORD, keep not silence.
set <ISA66 -19> And I will {set} a sign among them, and I will
send
those that escape of them unto the nations, [to] Tarshish, Pul,
and
Lud, that draw the bow, [to] Tubal, and Javan, [to] the isles
afar
off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen
my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
set <JER1 -10> See, I have this day {set} thee over the nations
and
over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy,
and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
set <JER1 -15> For, lo, I will call all the families of the
kingdoms
of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall
{set} every one his throne at the entering of the gates of
Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and
against all the cities of Judah.
set <JER4 -6> {Set} up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay
not:
for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.
set <JER5 -26> For among my people are found wicked [men]: they
lay
wait, as he that setteth snares; they {set} a trap, they catch
men.
set <JER6 -1> O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to
flee
out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and
{set} up a sign of fire in Bethhaccerem: for evil appeareth out
of
the north, and great destruction.
set <JER6 -17> Also I {set} watchmen over you, [saying], Hearken
to
the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.
set <JER6 -23> They shall lay hold on bow and spear; they [are]
cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roareth like the sea; and
they
ride upon horses, {set} in array as men for war against thee, O
daughter of Zion.
set <JER6 -27> I have {set} thee [for] a tower [and] a fortress
among my people, that thou mayest know and try their way.
set <JER7 -12> But go ye now unto my place which [was] in Shiloh,
where I {set} my name at the first, and see what I did to it for
the
wickedness of my people Israel.
set <JER7 -30> For the children of Judah have done evil in my
sight,
saith the LORD: they have {set} their abominations in the house
which is called by my name, to pollute it.
set <JER9 -13> And the LORD saith, Because they have forsaken my
law
which I {set} before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither
walked therein;
set <JER10 -20> My tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are
broken: my children are gone forth of me, and they [are] not:
[there
is] none to stretch forth my tent any more, and to {set} up my
curtains.
set <JER11 -13> For [according to] the number of thy cities were
thy
gods, O Judah; and [according to] the number of the streets of
Jerusalem have ye {set} up altars to [that] shameful thing,
[even]
altars to burn incense unto Baal.
set <JER21 -8> And unto this people thou shalt say, Thus saith
the
LORD; Behold, I {set} before you the way of life, and the way of
death.
set <JER21 -10> For I have {set} my face against this city for
evil,
and not for good, saith the LORD: it shall be given into the
hand of
the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.
set <JER23 -4> And I will {set} up shepherds over them which
shall
feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither
shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.
set <JER24 -1> The LORD showed me, and, behold, two baskets of
figs
[were] {set} before the temple of the LORD, after that
Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah
the
son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with
the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them
to
Babylon.
set <JER24 -6> For I will {set} mine eyes upon them for good,
and I
will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and
not
pull [them] down; and I will plant them, and not pluck [them] up.
set <JER26 -4> And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD;
If
ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have {set}
before you,
set <JER31 -21> Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: {set}
thine heart toward the highway, [even] the way [which] thou
wentest:
turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.
set <JER31 -21> {Set} thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set
thine heart toward the highway, [even] the way [which] thou
wentest:
turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.
set <JER31 -29> In those days they shall say no more, The fathers
have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are {set} on
edge.
set <JER31 -30> But every one shall die for his own iniquity:
every
man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be {set} on edge.
set <JER32 -20> Which hast {set} signs and wonders in the land of
Egypt, [even] unto this day, and in Israel, and among [other]
men;
and hast made thee a name, as at this day;
set <JER32 -29> And the Chaldeans, that fight against this city,
shall come and {set} fire on this city, and burn it with the
houses,
upon whose roofs they have offered incense unto Baal, and poured
out
drink offerings unto other gods, to provoke me to an
ger.
set <JER32 -34> But they {set} their abominations in the house,
which is called by my name, to defile it.
set <JER34 -16> But ye turned and polluted my name, and caused
every
man his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom he had {set} at
liberty at their pleasure, to return, and brought them into
subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids.
set <JER35 -5> And I {set} before the sons of the house of the
Rechabites pots full of wine, and cups, and I said unto them,
Drink
ye wine.
set <JER38 -22> And, behold, all the women that are left in the
king
of Judah's house [shall be] brought forth to the king of
Babylon's
princes, and those [women] shall say, Thy friends have {set} thee
on, and have prevailed against thee: thy feet are sun
k in the mire, [and] they are turned away back.
set <JER40 -11> Likewise when all the Jews that [were] in Moab,
and
among the Ammonites, and in Edom, and that [were] in all the
countries, heard that the king of Babylon had left a remnant of
Judah, and that he had {set} over them Gedaliah the son of Ahi
kam the son of Shaphan;
set <JER42 -15> And now therefore hear the word of the LORD, ye
remnant of Judah; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of
Israel;
If ye wholly {set} your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to
sojourn
there;
set <JER42 -17> So shall it be with all the men that {set} their
faces to go into Egypt to sojourn there; they shall die by the
sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: and none of them
shall
remain or escape from the evil that I will bring upon them.
set <JER43 -10> And say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts,
the
God of Israel; Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the
king
of Babylon, my servant, and will {set} his throne upon these
stones
that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal pav
ilion over them.
set <JER44 -10> They are not humbled [even] unto this day,
neither
have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes, that
I
{set} before you and before your fathers.
set <JER44 -11> Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God
of
Israel; Behold, I will {set} my face against you for evil, and to
cut off all Judah.
set <JER44 -12> And I will take the remnant of Judah, that have
{set} their faces to go into the land of Egypt to sojourn there,
and
they shall all be consumed, [and] fall in the land of Egypt; they
shall [even] be consumed by the sword [and] by the famin
e: they shall die, from the least even unto the greatest, by the
sword and by the famine: and they shall be an execration, [and]
an
astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach.
set <JER49 -38> And I will {set} my throne in Elam, and will
destroy
from thence the king and the princes, saith the LORD.
set <JER50 -2> Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and
{set}
up a standard; publish, [and] conceal not: say, Babylon is taken,
Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are
confounded, her images are broken in pieces.
set <JER50 -9> For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against
Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and
they shall {set} themselves in array against her; from thence she
shall be taken: their arrows [shall be] as of a mighty exp
ert man; none shall return in vain.
set <JER51 -12> Set up the standard upon the walls of Babylon,
make
the watch strong, {set} up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes:
for
the LORD hath both devised and done that which he spake against
the
inhabitants of Babylon.
set <JER51 -12> {Set} up the standard upon the walls of Babylon,
make the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes:
for the LORD hath both devised and done that which he spake
against
the inhabitants of Babylon.
set <JER51 -27> {Set} ye up a standard in the land, blow the
trumpet
among the nations, prepare the nations against her, call together
against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashchenaz;
appoint a
captain against her; cause the horses to come up as
the rough caterpillars.
set <JER52 -32> And spake kindly unto him, and {set} his throne
above the throne of the kings that [were] with him in Babylon,
set <LAM2 -17> The LORD hath done [that] which he had devised; he
hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of old:
he
hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: and he hath caused [thine]
enemy to rejoice over thee, he hath {set} up the horn
of thine adversaries.
set <LAM3 -6> He hath {set} me in dark places, as [they that be]
dead of old.
set <LAM3 -12> He hath bent his bow, and {set} me as a mark for
the
arrow.
set <EZE2 -2> And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto
me,
and {set} me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.
set <EZE3 -24> Then the spirit entered into me, and {set} me
upon my
feet, and spake with me, and said unto me, Go, shut thyself
within
thine house.
set <EZE4 -2> And lay siege against it, and build a fort against
it,
and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and
{set}
[battering] rams against it round about.
set <EZE4 -2> And lay siege against it, and build a fort against
it,
and cast a mount against it; {set} the camp also against it, and
set
[battering] rams against it round about.
set <EZE4 -3> Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and
{set} it
[for] a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face
against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege
against it. This [shall be] a sign to the house of Israel.
set <EZE4 -3> Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set
it
[for] a wall of iron between thee and the city: and {set} thy
face
against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege
against it. This [shall be] a sign to the house of Israel.
set <EZE4 -7> Therefore thou shalt {set} thy face toward the
siege
of Jerusalem, and thine arm [shall be] uncovered, and thou shalt
prophesy against it.
set <EZE5 -5> Thus saith the Lord GOD; This [is] Jerusalem: I
have
{set} it in the midst of the nations and countries [that are]
round
about her.
set <EZE6 -2> Son of man, {set} thy face toward the mountains of
Israel, and prophesy against them,
set <EZE7 -20> As for the beauty of his ornament, he {set} it in
majesty: but they made the images of their abominations [and] of
their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from
them.
set <EZE7 -20> As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in
majesty: but they made the images of their abominations [and] of
their detestable things therein: therefore have I {set} it far
from
them.
set <EZE9 -4> And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of
the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and {set} a mark upon
the
foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the
abominations
that be done in the midst thereof.
set <EZE12 -6> In their sight shalt thou bear [it] upon [thy]
shoulders, [and] carry [it] forth in the twilight: thou shalt
cover
thy face, that thou see not the ground: for I have {set} thee
[for]
a sign unto the house of Israel.
set <EZE13 -17> Likewise, thou son of man, {set} thy face against
the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own
heart;
and prophesy thou against them,
set <EZE14 -3> Son of man, these men have {set} up their idols in
their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before
their face: should I be inquired of at all by them?
set <EZE14 -8> And I will {set} my face against that man, and
will
make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the
midst
of my people; and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD.
set <EZE15 -7> And I will set my face against them; they shall go
out from [one] fire, and [another] fire shall devour them; and ye
shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I {set} my face against
them.
set <EZE15 -7> And I will {set} my face against them; they shall
go
out from [one] fire, and [another] fire shall devour them; and ye
shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I set my face against them.
set <EZE16 -18> And tookest thy broidered garments, and coveredst
them: and thou hast {set} mine oil and mine incense before them.
set <EZE16 -19> My meat also which I gave thee, fine flour, and
oil,
and honey, [wherewith] I fed thee, thou hast even {set} it before
them for a sweet savour: and [thus] it was, saith the Lord GOD.
set <EZE17 -4> He cropped off the top of his young twigs, and
carried it into a land of traffic; he {set} it in a city of
merchants.
set <EZE17 -5> He took also of the seed of the land, and planted
it
in a fruitful field; he placed [it] by great waters, [and] {set}
it
[as] a willow tree.
set <EZE17 -22> Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the
highest branch of the high cedar, and will {set} [it]; I will
crop
off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant
[it] upon an high mountain and eminent:
set <EZE18 -2> What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning
the
land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and
the
children's teeth are {set} on edge?
set <EZE19 -8> Then the nations {set} against him on every side
from
the provinces, and spread their net over him: he was taken in
their
pit.
set <EZE20 -46> Son of man, {set} thy face toward the south, and
drop [thy word] toward the south, and prophesy against the
forest of
the south field;
set <EZE21 -2> Son of man, {set} thy face toward Jerusalem, and
drop
[thy word] toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land
of
Israel,
set <EZE21 -15> I have {set} the point of the sword against all
their gates, that [their] heart may faint, and [their] ruins be
multiplied: ah! [it is] made bright, [it is] wrapped up for the
slaughter.
set <EZE21 -16> Go thee one way or other, [either] on the right
hand, [or] on the left, whithersoever thy face [is] {set}.
set <EZE22 -7> In thee have they {set} light by father and
mother:
in the midst of thee have they dealt by oppression with the
stranger: in thee have they vexed the fatherless and the widow.
set <EZE22 -10> In thee have they discovered their fathers'
nakedness: in thee have they humbled her that was {set} apart for
pollution.
set <EZE23 -24> And they shall come against thee with chariots,
wagons, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, [which] shall
set against thee buckler and shield and helmet round about: and I
will {set} judgment before them, and they shall judge thee
according to their judgments.
set <EZE23 -24> And they shall come against thee with chariots,
wagons, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, [which] shall
{set} against thee buckler and shield and helmet round about:
and I
will set judgment before them, and they shall judge thee
according to their judgments.
set <EZE23 -25> And I will {set} my jealousy against thee, and
they
shall deal furiously with thee: they shall take away thy nose and
thine ears; and thy remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall
take
thy sons and thy daughters; and thy residue shall be
devoured by the fire.
set <EZE23 -41> And satest upon a stately bed, and a table
prepared
before it, whereupon thou hast {set} mine incense and mine oil.
set <EZE24 -2> Son of man, write thee the name of the day,
[even] of
this same day: the king of Babylon {set} himself against
Jerusalem
this same day.
set <EZE24 -3> And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, {set} [it]
on,
and also pour water into it:
set <EZE24 -3> And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and
say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; {Set} on a pot, set [it]
on,
and also pour water into it:
set <EZE24 -7> For her blood is in the midst of her; she {set} it
upon the top of a rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to
cover
it with dust;
set <EZE24 -8> That it might cause fury to come up to take
vengeance; I have {set} her blood upon the top of a rock, that it
should not be covered.
set <EZE24 -11> Then {set} it empty upon the coals thereof, that
the
brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and [that] the filthiness
of
it may be molten in it, [that] the scum of it may be consumed.
set <EZE24 -25> Also, thou son of man, [shall it] not [be] in the
day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory,
the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they {set} their
minds,
their sons and their daughters,
set <EZE25 -2> Son of man, {set} thy face against the Ammonites,
and
prophesy against them;
set <EZE25 -4> Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to the men
of
the east for a possession, and they shall {set} their palaces in
thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit,
and they shall drink thy milk.
set <EZE26 -9> And he shall {set} engines of war against thy
walls,
and with his axes he shall break down thy towers.
set <EZE26 -20> When I shall bring thee down with them that
descend
into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee in
the
low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them
that go
down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; and
I shall {set} glory in the land of the living;
set <EZE26 -20> When I shall bring thee down with them that
descend
into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall {set} thee
in
the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them
that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; an
d I shall set glory in the land of the living;
set <EZE27 -10> They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in
thine
army, thy men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in thee;
they {set} forth thy comeliness.
set <EZE28 -2> Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus
saith
the Lord GOD; Because thine heart [is] lifted up, and thou hast
said, I [am] a God, I sit [in] the seat of God, in the midst of
the
seas; yet thou [art] a man, and not God, though thou {s
et} thine heart as the heart of God:
set <EZE28 -6> Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou
hast
{set} thine heart as the heart of God;
set <EZE28 -14> Thou [art] the anointed cherub that covereth;
and I
have {set} thee [so]: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God;
thou
hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
set <EZE28 -21> Son of man, {set} thy face against Zidon, and
prophesy against it,
set <EZE29 -2> Son of man, {set} thy face against Pharaoh king of
Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt:
set <EZE30 -8> And they shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I
have
{set} a fire in Egypt, and [when] all her helpers shall be
destroyed.
set <EZE30 -14> And I will make Pathros desolate, and will {set}
fire in Zoan, and will execute judgments in No.
set <EZE30 -16> And I will {set} fire in Egypt: Sin shall have
great
pain, and No shall be rent asunder, and Noph [shall have]
distresses
daily.
set <EZE31 -4> The waters made him great, the deep {set} him up
on
high with her rivers running round about his plants, and sent out
her little rivers unto all the trees of the field.
set <EZE32 -8> All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark
over
thee, and {set} darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD.
set <EZE32 -23> Whose graves are {set} in the sides of the pit,
and
her company is round about her grave: all of them slain, fallen
by
the sword, which caused terror in the land of the living.
set <EZE32 -25> They have {set} her a bed in the midst of the
slain
with all her multitude: her graves [are] round about him: all of
them uncircumcised, slain by the sword: though their terror was
caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne thei
r shame with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the
midst of
[them that be] slain.
set <EZE33 -2> Son of man, speak to the children of thy people,
and
say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people
of
the land take a man of their coasts, and {set} him for their
watchman:
set <EZE33 -7> So thou, O son of man, I have {set} thee a
watchman
unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at
my
mouth, and warn them from me.
set <EZE34 -23> And I will {set} up one shepherd over them, and
he
shall feed them, [even] my servant David; he shall feed them,
and he
shall be their shepherd.
set <EZE35 -2> Son of man, {set} thy face against mount Seir, and
prophesy against it,
set <EZE37 -1> The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me
out
in the spirit of the LORD, and {set} me down in the midst of the
valley which [was] full of bones,
set <EZE37 -26> Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with
them;
it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place
them, and multiply them, and will {set} my sanctuary in the
midst of
them for evermore.
set <EZE38 -2> Son of man, {set} thy face against Gog, the land
of
Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy
against
him,
