accept <GEN32 -20> And say ye moreover, Behold, thy servant Jacob
[is] behind us. For he said, I will appease him with the present
that goeth before me, and afterward I will see his face;
peradventure he will {accept} of me.
accept <EXO22 -11> Then] shall an oath of the LORD be between
them
both, that he hath not put his hand unto his neighbour's goods;
and
the owner of it shall {accept} [thereof], and he shall not make
[it]
good.
accept <LEV26 -41> And [that] I also have walked contrary unto
them,
and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then
their
uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then {accept} of the
punishment of their iniquity:
accept <LEV26 -43> The land also shall be left of them, and shall
enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and
they
shall {accept} of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even
because they despised my judgments, and because their s
oul abhorred my statutes.
accept <DEU33 -11> Bless, LORD, his substance, and {accept} the
work
of his hands: smite through the loins of them that rise against
him,
and of them that hate him, that they rise not again.
accept <1SA26 -19> Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the
king
hear the words of his servant. If the LORD have stirred thee up
against me, let him {accept} an offering: but if [they be] the
children of men, cursed [be] they before the LORD; for they
have driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of
the
LORD, saying, Go, serve other gods.
accept <2SA24 -23> All these [things] did Araunah, [as] a king,
give
unto the king. And Araunah said unto the king, The LORD thy God
{accept} thee.
accept <JOB13 -8> Will ye {accept} his person? will ye contend
for
God?
accept <JOB13 -10> He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly
{accept} persons.
accept <JOB32 -21> Let me not, I pray you, {accept} any man's
person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.
accept <JOB42 -8> Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and
seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for
yourselves a
burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him
will
I {accept}: lest I deal with you [after your] folly, i
n that ye have not spoken of me [the thing which is] right, like
my
servant Job.
accept <PSA20 -3> Remember all thy offerings, and {accept} thy
burnt
sacrifice; Selah.
accept <PSA82 -2> How long will ye judge unjustly, and {accept}
the
persons of the wicked? Selah.
accept <PSA119 -108> {Accept}, I beseech thee, the freewill
offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.
accept <PRO18 -5> It is] not good to {accept} the person of the
wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment.
accept <JER14 -10> Thus saith the LORD unto this people, Thus
have
they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet,
therefore
the LORD doth not {accept} them; he will now remember their
iniquity, and visit their sins.
accept <JER14 -12> When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and
when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not
{accept}
them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine,
and
by the pestilence.
accept <EZE20 -40> For in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of
the
height of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, there shall all the house
of
Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I {accept}
them, and there will I require your offerings, and the
firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things.
a
ccept <EZE20 -41> I will {accept} you with your sweet savour,
when I
bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the
countries
wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you
before the heathen.
accept <EZE43 -27> And when these days are expired, it shall be,
[that] upon the eighth day, and [so] forward, the priests shall
make
your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings;
and I
will {accept} you, saith the Lord GOD.
accept <AMO5 -22> Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your
meat
offerings, I will not {accept} [them]: neither will I regard the
peace offerings of your fat beasts.
accept <MAL1 -8> And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, [is it]
not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, [is it] not evil?
offer
it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or
{accept}
thy person? saith the LORD of hosts.
accept <MAL1 -10> Who [is there] even among you that would shut
the
doors [for nought]? neither do ye kindle [fire] on mine altar for
nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts,
neither
will I {accept} an offering at your hand.
accept <MAL1 -13> Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness [is it]!
and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye
brought
[that which was] torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye
brought
an offering: should I {accept} this of your hand? saith
the LORD.
a
ccept <ACT24 -3> We {accept} it] always, and in all places, most
noble Felix, with all thankfulness.
